Surf and Turf Book Camp

Surf and Turf Book Camp

Held at the outdoor pool and grass area behind the pool, participants will engage in a water workout using interval sets with water weights followed by a boot camp style land work out using a variety of exercise tools including medicine balls, resistance bands and much more. Run by JCC trainers, Adir Saati and Zane Bickler.

POOL NEWS Goodbye Chlorine, Hello Salt On October 2, the outdoor pool will briefly close as it transitions from a traditional chlorine sanitizing system to a salt sanitizing system. Beginning on Oct. 3, lap swimmers can enjoy the more pleasant, healthy, and environmentally-friendly Salt Pure® swimming experience – all year round. Construction on the warming hut begins early October and, once completed, swimmers can enjoy coffee or tea as they warm up pre or post swim.

Pool Lift Donation The Aquatics Department would like to thank the Shwayder family for their generous donation of a pool accessibility lift for our outdoor pool. This lift will make it possible for all of our members and guests to use either of our pools. If you or someone that you know would like to use one of the lifts at our indoor or outdoor pool, please ask the lifeguard and they will be happy to assist you.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING CLASSES WOW – Women on Weights This four-week, twice-weekly introductory weight training session for women teaches you how to safely use weight machines on your own. Tuesdays & Thursdays Oct. 9- Nov. 1, noon- 1 p.m. $139/eight sessions

Simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance, flexibility and core stability. Small groups will meet for an intense 45 minute work out. TRX is great for every age and ability level. Mondays, 8:30-9:15 a.m. Tuesdays, 5-5:45 p.m. Wednesdays, 10:45-11:30 a.m.

Kid Fit & Kid Dance Creatively developing your children through movement, these energetic dance or fitness classes for youth utilize body movement without the structures of traditional tap, ballet, or cardio workouts. Kids will rock out to age appropriate dance beats they are sure to recognize. Each class will begin and end with yoga inspired stretching.

Join Adir Saati at Red Rocks Amphitheater for a heart pounding boot camp-style workout that utilizes everything Red Rocks has to offer. This workout is intended to work on the cardiovascular system, build strength, and develop explosive power. You will need to provide your own transportation to the amphitheater.

If you have never taken Pilates on the machines or need a refresher, now is the perfect time. Try our affordable, 50 minute, eight-session series. J-Hike – Golden Gate Canyon Join Adir Saati and Mike Sosniak on a five mile, moderate level hike up to Panorama Point in Golden Gate State Park. The hike will take place during the changing of the golden aspen trees and should provide spectacular scenery. Light snacks and transportation will be provided, but be sure to bring your own water. The Key to Our Lock Problems is No Key at All!

Try out our new keyless lockers. Over the next 6 months, we plan to replace our current lock and key system with new keyless locks! The user enters a code that will lock and open only once, and then be erased. The lock will remain open until it is reset by the next user. In this mode a red LED light will flash to show the locker is in use. Each lock offers up to 10,000 four-digit user codes!
