Share in the Thrill of the 2010 Denver JCC Maccabi Games® Over 1,200 Jewish teen athletes from around the world are coming to Denver this summer to participate in the JCC Maccabi Games®, an Olympic-style event that provides a unique combination of sports, cultural and social activities. Proud to host the Games for the very first time in Denver, the Robert E. Loup JCC invites you to share in the thrill of the Games August 1–6, 2010.

More than 1,000 volunteers are needed to ensure the success of the 2010 Denver JCC Maccabi Games®. There are many ways you can assist to help make these Games memorable for the athletes and our community. The visiting athletes will travel with their local delegations to Denver on August 1, just in time for the first big event - Opening Ceremonies at DU’s Magness Arena. Volunteers are needed at the Opening Ceremonies to help usher, welcome, and direct people in all the right directions. The Games’ activities will continue bright and early on Monday morning, August 2, with the beginning of the athletic competition. The sporting events will take place at multiple venues throughout Denver. Volunteers are needed at each venue to keep score, assist athletes in boarding the right busses, and be hosts and hostesses of our community, providing information to spectators at hospitality tables daily Monday through Friday. The Games are about a lot more than just athletics. The Games are about socializing and connecting with Jewish teens from around the world as well as celebrating Jewish values and culture. Volunteers are needed to help out in the Hang Time room and to serve meals and snacks throughout the week at the JCC where the athletes will be found taking breaks from competitions to relax and socialize. This is the perfect opportunity for YOU to be involved in this momentous event, don’t miss out!
