WEEKLY PROGRAMS Early Experiences in Jewish Learning – Beginning Feb. 4 Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Ages 2-1/2 to 3-/12 years old Drop off $185 per month/per child Early Experiences in Jewish Learning classes nurture the development of a Jewish identity and interest to participate in Jewish life through holiday celebrations and traditions rooted in Jewish heritage.

10—11 a.m., Ages four years and younger Session I: Jan 4, 11, 18, 25; Feb 1, 8, 15, 22; March 1 $78.75/nine-week session: $10 drop in/Children ages 13 months and older $60.75/nine-week session: $8 drop in /Children ages 6—12 months Session ll: March 8, 15, 22; April 5, 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17 $87.75/ten-week session: $10 drop in/Children ages 13 months and older $67.75/ten-week session: $8 drop in /Children ages 6—12 months Parents and their children will learn about Shabbat traditions and blessings, sing, dance, do make-and-take challah, art and craft activities, enjoy a delicious healthy snack, and have a great time celebrating Shabbat with friends.

Talk and Tumble – Beginning Feb. 5 - Tuesdays, 10:30—11:30 a.m.

Journey back to where it all started as we enter the magical world of Harry Potter. This workshop focuses on the highlights of Harry’s first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and ends in a final performance filled with magic and spectacle.

$2/family Designed for children three years and younger with their parents. Bring your baby or toddler for open play time in our tumbling room on Tuesday mornings.Warm up with coffee or tea, and chat with friends.

Sticky Fingers Cooking Class - Sunday, Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27 10:30-11:30 a.m. for 21/2 -4 year olds 1—2 p.m. for 5-9 year olds

$90/child/6-week class Using improvisation, music, movement, art and play, we’ll explore fairy tale classics. Each day a new story is read and then transformed into a play utilizing the students as the actors.

The Adventures of Harry Potter Book 1 Theatre Class – Thursdays, Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31; Feb. 7, 14 4:30—5:30 p.m., Grades 3—6

$90/child/6-week class

Film Acting Class: Acting on Camera – Thursdays, Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31 Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28, 6—8 p.m., Grades 6—12

$184/child/8-week class

$92 A cooking class where children can whisk,julienne and fold to their heart’s content, in someone else’s kitchen.

Learn techniques for on camera acting, including styles from sitcom to commercial to film. Students will choose material to work on, and be recorded in front of a camera in class. At the end of class, each student will have a short DVD with their own on-camera work.

Comic Book Making – Tuesdays, Jan. 29, Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19

$132/child/8-week class

$65.20 plus $10 material fee.

This course will take students through the complete creative process of making a comic book, from character design, to story writing, page planning, finishing inks, and book production and assembly. Students will walk out of this class with their own self-published mini-comic!

March 14, 21, April 4, 11, 18 $84 plus $10 material fee. $17/drop in Explore the world of textures,colors,shapes,and self-expression in this introductory art class for parents and their young children.
