screenings and ongoing programs Blood Pressure Screenings at the JCC Knowing your numbers is an important part of maintaining your heart health. These free Blood Pressure Screenings are provided by Registered Nurses from Barnabas Health Homecare and The Heart Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Infant CPR for Friends and Family This entry-level course offers instruction by the CPR Training Center in child and infant CPR as well as foreign body airway obstruction (choking) training.

MOMMIES MOODS Friday Mornings This professionally led support group for new moms focuses on mother-care rather than child-care. Discussions address issues of anxiety, sadness, irritability, and feeling scared and overwhelmed by the transition to motherhood.

Lung Cancer: Early Detection Roland Romano, LPC, CTTS, RRT, Community Outreach Coordinator, Saint Barnabas Lung Cancer Institute The Saint Barnabas Lung Cancer Institute is offering a free low-dose CT screening program for individuals who are at high-risk for developing lung cancer to identify abnormalities earlier—when it is most curable. If you are a current or former smoker, learn if you are eligible for this life-saving test.

Dr. Gupta will speak about the latest advancements in the research of Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders such as spasticity and dystonia.

This yoga and nutrition interactive workshop will explore the hidden sugars in our diet, the harm these sugars can cause in the body and how to reduce or eliminate these sugars from the foods we eat.
