JCI Cebu Inc. and JCI Mactan Reyna Bulakna launched this year’s Jaycees Summer International Bazaar at Mactan Newtown Block 2, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, on April 25, 2023.

In partnership with the LapuLapu City Government of Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan, the Mactan Newtown, and the Department of Trade and Industry Cebu, the trade fair for a cause, which later transferred to Liberty Shrine, Mactan, opened from April 25 to June 8, 4:00-10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 4:00-11:00 p.m. on weekends, Monday to Sunday.

The international bazaar featured a number of remarkable merchandise and food stalls, including events for the families: Jaycees Summer Idol, Acoustic Duo and DJ’s Night by the official media partner iFM 93.9 Cebu. The bazaar also joined the rest of the Cebuanos as we celebrate our very own culture and heritage with the Gabii sa Kabilin 2023 last May 12, while the candidates of Ginoong Pilipinas 2023 visited the bazaar last May 13.

Part of JCI Cebu’s 75th anniversary celebration, the Jaycees Summer International Bazaar is led by Joe Aperdo as project chairman.

The trade fair for a cause is also sponsored by Coca-Cola, GrabPH, Chihiro Ocean Engineering, Vicsal Foundation and Rhines Kitchen and Catering Services. This year’s beneficiaries are the Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders Inc., Missionaries of the Poor and JCI Mactan Reyna Bulakna Brightwheels.
