Please use the GREEN bag that your packet came in as your drop bag on race day. Only items that fit in this bag will be accepted at the drop site. Bag drop will take place at the information tent on the north side of the marina parking lot.
RACE DAY parking Athletes will park in the Football & Cheerleading parking lot off of Pflumm Road. If you are driving in from the north, heading south on Pflumm Rd., you will pass the main park entrance and go to the parking lots located just south on the west side of the road. The park is closed for this event so please do not try to enter the park by car. If you require special parking accommodations, please reach out to our Race Director.
COURSE maps
5K 10K 15K All athletes will begin on the main park road heading south at 7:30am. The run will take place on the paved Coffee Creek Trail system and on the roads inside Heritage Park. The course will have two water stations that may be seen multiple times depending on your race distance. Turn around points will be marked with signs. Please keep an eye out for your turn around point as there may not be volunteers stationed at these here.
TIMING &
results
Your timing chip is on the back of your race bib. Please be sure not to bend your race bib/the chip. Please wear your bib on the front of your shirt/shorts throughout the entire race. If you forget or lose your bib/chip, please check in with the race management staff under the information tent on the north side of the marina parking lot. Results will be available on the race registration site on RunSignUp.com
PHOTOS
There will be multiple photographers on site. The race photos will be posted to the Facebook page via a link no later than May 14th.
AWARDS
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal upon completion of the event. The top male and female OVERALL in each race will receive an award as well as the top male and female in the Masters Division (40+).The top three males and females in each event and age group listed below will also receive an award. Please note: all awards will be given out on site and will not be mailed. *Athletes receiving the top Overall and Masters awards will not qualify for age group awards. 15 & Under (5K) 35-39 60-64 16-19 (5K) / 15-19 (10K & 15K) 40-44 65-69 20-24 45-49 70-74 25-29 50-54 75-79 30-34 55-59 80+

If you need to exchange your t-shirt size, please visit the white information tent in the northwest corner of the marina parking lot AFTER the race to see if there are extra.
WEATHER

In the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen factors that may threaten the safety of the participants, JCPRD reserves the right to alter, eliminate portions and or modify the event. If the starting time of the event is delayed, the JCPRD race management team will update participants through a public announcement system, if available, at the event and the Rain Out line at 913-686-6030 ext, 16. The JCPRD race management team will determine when the event has returned to acceptable conditions. The event can be delayed, but the park must be open to the public by noon (12pm). The JCPRD race management team can only delay until it is no longer possible for the race to be completed before the park must be reopened. If conditions have not improved or JCPRD deems the course unsafe, the event will be cancelled with no refunds. There will be no rain date or rescheduling of this event.
