Who’s Who in the Cast Anna Avery (Ali) is a junior at KU studying Journalism and Theatre, and has been performing around Kansas City for the past decade. She is thrilled to spend her summer at TIP and thanks friends, family, and teachers for their support! Laura Behm (Ensemble) has been dancing since the age of two and will graduate next spring with a Dance BFA and Math BS from UMKC. She is thrilled to make her TIP debut with the cast and crew of Mamma Mia! Karen Blackmon (Ensemble) Karen’s passion for music theatre led her to double major in MT and VP at Wichita State University. She can’t wait to be grooving it out all summer in Mamma Mia and Half Time… at TIP! Maggie Bunch (Ensemble) is going to be a senior at Blue Valley Northwest and is thrilled to be back performing at TIP! Recent credits: Caroline (Theory of Relativity), Edwin Drood (Drood), and Reno Sweeny (Anything Goes). She would like to thank the cast, crew, Tausha Torrez, friends, and family! Stasha Case (Tanya) This marks Stasha’s 22nd TIP production starting in 1982. Favorite TIP roles include The Drowsy Chaperone 2016 (Kitty), Guys & Dolls 2004 (Adelaide), Peter Pan 2000 (Peter Pan) & Li’l Abner 1984 (Mammy Yokum). This one’s for Frosty! Jason Casey (Ensemble) is a Blue Valley High School student who’s been involved in choir his whole life. He loves musical theater and has participated in many musicals, such as Addams Family as Lucas Beineke and Music Man as Oliver Hix. Zane Champie (Ensemble) is so excited to be returning to the TIP stage! Past credits include High School Musical 1 &

2 (Troy Bolton, TIP) and Grease (Danny Zuko, TIP). He would like to thank his friends and family for their support! Spencer Gochis (Father Alexandrios) This is Spencer’s 5th season at the Park. You may have seen him previously playing Kenickie in Grease! He is very happy to be back on the stage after all this time and is happy to make his return at the Park. Reily Harker (Ensemble) is thrilled to return to TIP this summer! He would like to thank his family and friends for their support! He is excited that this will be one of his last shows before taking on Chicago! IG: @Reily_Harker Zoe Lepper (Ensemble) is a communications major at UCM. Recent credits include Stella (A Streetcar Named Desire), Jeannie (HAIR), and Santana Lopez (Gleesical). She is thrilled to be back on stage and apart of her first TIP show! Sheridan Mirador (Pepper) is ecstatic to be making his TIP debut. He is a sophomore BFA Musical Theatre major at Missouri State. You can catch him next in Newsies later this summer as Davey. Hope you enjoy the show! IG: @sheridanmirador Kristi Mitchell (Donna Sheridan) Kristi first appeared at TIP in 1992. Favorite roles include Ursula (Little Mermaid), Mother (Ragtime), Freulein Schneider (Cabaret), Cinderella (Into the Woods) and Anita (West Side Story). Kristi teaches music at Barstow School and music directs for Shawnee Mission South theater. Cara Parisi (Ensemble) will be a senior at Bishop Miege and is ecstatic for her debut at TIP! Recent roles: Pennywise (Urinetown), Sibella (Gentleman’s Guide), and Tracy (Hairspray). She would like to thank the cast, crew, friends, family & Grace Mott!


Joell Ramsdell (Bill Austin) is “Super Trouper” excited to return to TIP. You might remember “Our Last Summer,” when he played Mr. Wormwood in Matilda. “When All Is Said and Done,” he hopes, you “Lay All Your Love on Me” and our show. Rob Reeder (Harry Bright) is appearing in his 18th show at TIP, most recently as Bobby Child in Crazy For You. Robin Robles (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his debut with TIP. Recent credits: National Tour: Elf the musical. Regional: Billy Elliot (Spinning Tree), Joseph…..Coat (New Theatre), Wizard of Oz (Starlight Theatre), Rudolph (Coterie). Robin would like to thank Miller Marley Dance, his voice teacher – Gary Green and his family for their love and support! IG: @robinelirobles. Gavin Ruder (Ensemble) is making his TIP debut. Gavin is a 2021 graduate of Blue Valley High School. His theater experience includes The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, and The Addams Family. Love to my family and friends for all of their support! McKenna Shaw (Lisa) “If something falls, pick it up. If someone falls, help them up.” - Greg Shaw McKenna is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She cannot thank her father enough for his support and is thrilled to be keeping the TIP family tradition alive. IG: @mckenna.shaw Austin Shively (Ensemble) is a senior business student at TCU and is excited to be returning to the park for the third time. His previous TIP credits include High School Musical and Cogsworth in Beauty and Beast. Kipp Simmons (Sam Carmichael) Kipp first appeared on the TIP stage in Hello Dolly in 1989. With numerous shows in between, he last appeared at TIP as

Sir Robin (and others) in Spamalot. He also directed TIP’s production of Sweet Charity in 2019. Pam Sollars (Rosie) is thrilled to reunite with Mark Swayze after performing as Mrs. Lovett in his TIP production of Sweeney Todd. Excited to join this talented cast of “old friends” and Dancing Queens, Pam is also appearing in Half Time at TIP this summer. Beat it Covid!!!!! Libby Terril (Sophie Sheridan) is thrilled to make her TIP debut. She has been seen on other KC stages including Starlight, Spinning Tree Theatre, and Faust Theatre. She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Arkansas. Weston Thomas (Eddie) is a business/ marketing graduate from Missouri State University. Recent credits: Something Rotten, Newsies (White Theatre); Matilda, Annie, Be More Chill, Godspell (TIP); 2019 Plaza Lighting Ceremony; Funny Girl (MTH Theatre); Elf (MTKC Pro); Damn Yankees, Fiddler on the Roof (Tent Theatre). IG: @Weston_Thomas Kim Trudell (Ensemble) loves supporting students at Kansas Academy of Theatrical Arts. She founded Adaptive Dance at KCBallet, has choreographed many shows, camps, and taught lots of dance. Her fave role is Mom of two, slipping through her fingers all the time! Ashtin Umstadd (Ensemble) is excited to be part of Mamma Mia! This is Ashtin’s first production at TIP but she has been in many school productions. She graduated high school this year and is thrilled to start off summer with a bang! Jace Vendelin (Sky) is an undergraduate vocal performance major at Pepperdine University. Jace, who plays the role of Sky, is extremely excited for the


opportunity to perform his first Theatre in the Park show with this cast of Mamma Mia.

Who’s Who in the Orchestra Mark Felton (Guitar 2) Guitarist Mark Felton has been a regular in the Blue Valley Baptist Church praise band for the past 22 years. This is his sophomore musical, having played in Bring It On at Olathe East High School. Kevin Haney (Guitar 1) Guitarist Kevin Haney has played guitar professionally in several genres for almost 20 years. This will be Kevin’s 2nd show at Theatre in the Park having played in 2019’s Matilda. Tom Harrington (Bass) Bassist Tom Harrington is a northern Iowan who ended up in Kansas after serving in the 371st Army Band at Fort Leavenworth. He’s a KU graduate and is retired from 38 years teaching band in Topeka and Olathe. Nathan Helgeson (Keyboard 3) is returning for his fourth year on keyboard at TIP. He graduated from K-State in Spring 2020. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys music, board games, and spending time outdoors. Joel McCoy (Drums) This is Joel’s 10th show at TIP. Joel is a freelance musician and producer and is available for drums and percussion lessons at Meyer Music in Overland Park. Deanna Wagoner (Keyboard 2) is thrilled to be back at the park with live theatre! She has performed in the pit with numerous theatres in the KC area and will be playing the first of four productions at TIP this year. RuthAnn Wagoner (Keyboard 4) graduated from UMKC in 2012 with her B.M. in Piano Performance. She teaches piano lessons in Overland Park

and has worked as a full-time choir accompanist for Lee’s Summit High School for the past nine years.

Who’s Who on the Production Staff Noah Biswell (Asst. Stage Manager) an incoming senior, is excited to be part of such an exciting show! South: The Fantasticks (Matt), She Kills Monsters (Chuck) Almost, Maine (Pete/Dave), Stocking Stuffers (Elf #1, Stocking #1, and Donner), Peter Pan (Nibs), Jesus Christ Superstar (Featured Ensemble), Cinderella (Dancer), Mamma Mia! (Pepper). TIP: The Little Mermaid (Running Crew), Matilda (Running Crew). He would like to thank his family, his F3 brothers, The SMS Set Crew, Eshan Kamran, Mark Swezey, and Skip Gordon. Gregg Bridges (Accompanist) Mamma Mia! is Greg’s third show at TIP. He also plays with the worship band at Colonial Presbyterian Church. He wants to thank his own Mamma and Pappa for paying for his piano lessons and for making him practice. He sends much love to his wife Angie and daughters. And a big “hello” to his special niece Evie who says Mamma Mia is her favorite show! Enjoy! Stella Clayton (Props Designer) is so grateful to have been given the opportunity to work on her first Theatre in the Park show! Hannah Ernst (Co-Choreographer) graduated from Point Park University with a B.F.A in Dance. Ernst has performed/choreographed for summer stock theatres and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Hannah was a Las Vegas Showgirl for Don Arden’s Jubilee! as well as Vegas! The Show. Ernst has also had the privilege of working for Jimmy Kimmel, Ludacris, and can be seen in the new season of ‘Glow’ on Netflix. Hannah is happy to spend this summer alongside her mother at TIP. Liz Ernst (Co-Choreographer) is thrilled to be choreographing Mamma Mia! with her daughter, Hannah. This show was such fun! Great staff, cast & crew! Liz is the proud owner of LE Dance Studio in Overland Park, KS, and fills whatever free time she has with her love for choreographing musicals ! Liz holds a M.F.A. and a B.F.A. in Dance, and loves sharing her passion for dance with her community. Michael & Greg, I’ll miss you in the audience. Skip Gordon (Stage Manager) This is Skip’s 7th show with Theatre in the Park. He is currently the Technical Director at Shawnee Mission South HS. Other theaters he has worked for: Chestnut Fine Arts, Stone Lion Puppets, Stageworx, and Rockhurst. Taylor Helm (Asst. Stage Manager) is beyond excited to be ASMing this amazing production. to be working as a props manager for Mamma Mia at Theatre in the Park this year! Props Crewhead 2020-2022, Thespian Troupe #2491 Vice President 2020-2022. Maggie would like to thank her friends, family, Stella Clayton and Mark Swezey. Jeff Martin (Music Director/Conductor) has been involved in the local KC music and theatre scene as an actor/ singer, arranger and music director for the last 35 years. Credits include productions with the KC Lyric Opera, Quality Hill Playhouse, Chestnut Fine Arts Theatre, the White Theatre, TIP and the New Theatre Restaurant. Jeff is excited to be back with Theatre in the Park to conduct this broadway and film favorite, Mamma Mia. Jeff serves as Director of Worship and Arts at the Wornall campus of Colonial Presbyterian Church. He’s also the lucky, 28-year husband of his wife Lee Ann as well as the proud father of his three sons Chad, Casey and Connor – thanks for always being there, gang! Mollie McClanahan (Costume Designer) This is Mollie’s first show at TIP! She graduated last May from Emporia State University with her BFA in Theatre. In addition to constructing and designing costumes at ESU, Mollie spent a summer at Central City Opera in Central City, Colorado as a costume and wardrobe intern. She is thankful to be working with Mary Williams again and to be back making theatre happen. Mark Swezey (Director) This is the 26th production that he has directed for TIP. During the year, he is the Director of Theatre at Shawnee Mission


South H.S. For his work in professional, academic and community theatre, he has been honored to receive awards in each level of his work. In recent years, he was honored as the Kansas Teacher of the Year nominee for his work at South as well as becoming a member of the Kansas Thespian Hall of Fame. Mary Williams (Costume Designer) Mary never thought she’d design Mamma Mia! so what a way to jump back into things! Past design credits: BoeingBoeing, Grand Hotel, The Glass Menagerie, Disenchanted, Heathers: The Musical. Before quarantining, she was the interim asst. costume shop manager at the KCRep, on wardrobe team for touring shows, the KC Lyric Opera, and the KC Ballet. Coming up: Mary is working on the next TIP show, Curtains, and shall see where life will take her once more theaters start regaining their traction.
