Originally from Florida, Jonathan Barash moved to Atlanta after law school to become Associate Director of the Anti-Defamation League’s Southeast Regional office. At the ADL, Jon had broad portfolio of responsibilities including community relations, "fact-finding," occasional JCRC representation, liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement on various issues of interest to those agencies (e.g. hate crime investigation and threat groups), and staffing the region's civil rights committee. After the ADL, Jon working briefly as an assistant public defender in Tampa, Florida, returning to Atlanta in 2000 to practice law here. Since February 2010, Jon has had his own law firm, the Law Office of Jonathan A. Barash, concentrating in general civil, business, and construction litigation and creditor's rights. Jon is also among a select group of attorneys nationwide who have achieved recognition as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). In his spare time, Jon keeps busy as an occasional improv actor and as a photographer
