The renovation of Miami Dade College’s medical campus Success Center and Medical Simulation Labs required offering the students and tutoring staff a friendly, simple, inexpensive informal yet elegant solution to a problem of lack of space and outdated equipment, lighting and finishes The scope included millwork furnishing custom design and shop drawing review, finish selection, furniture proposal packages and layouts utilizing the basis of design document recently acquired by the college. Project management, preparation and multi-discipline coordination of schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration was provided, as well as coordination of engineering systems for the new medical simulation equipment acquired by the college.

The result was an inviting, warm, contemporary, fluid and comfortable space for which the client has been commended for by donating entities.
