Free warranties
Get complete peace of mind with a range of warranties on tech
All electronic devices come standard with a minimum of a 12-month or more warranty. If you have purchased a computer (Notebook/Laptop or a PC Tower), your device’s warranty can be extended up to 3-Years FREE upon registration on our website incredible. co.za within the first 30 calendar days from the date of purchase in order to qualify. This extended warranty agreement will come into effect as soon as the online registration has been completed.
All new iPhone, Apple Watch & iPad devices carry a FREE 2-Year warranty upon registration. You merely need to go online within 30 days of purchase, complete the registration form accurately and submit.
Extended warranties
Get more peace of mind for the tech & appliances you purchase
An extended warranty is an optional warranty which is added to the purchase price of a specific product and covers any supplier or manufacturer defects after the supplier or manufacturer warranty has expired. The retailer, not the manufacturer, is responsible for executing the extended warranty on behalf of the customer when this comes into effect.
Further warranty extensions can also be purchased in store for additional peace of mind, depending on the device you have purchased. For example, your electronic device has the minimum of a 12-month warranty but the extended warranty allows you to be covered for an additional 4 years, depending on the extended warranty length/period you take. You can extend from 12 months up to 5 years.
You purchase your extended warranty at the point of your product purchase by any means of payment. Alternatively, you have 30 days from the original purchase date/receipt of the item to purchase an extended warranty.
If your product is damaged while under warranty, the product will be professionally assessed or repaired at our certified service providers. Depending on your location, this repair can take up to 21 working days to complete.
Should the product be defective and cannot be repaired (not financially viable to repair), the item will be replaced with a model of similar specifications.

We know your electronic equipment is an indispensable item. Claims submitted with all claim documentation will be processed by Abacus within 5 working days from the upon which all claim documentation is received.
In the case of repairs, this turnaround time excludes the actual repair by the appointed agent.

Diagnostic services
Let us test your device to diagnose faulty issues, and repair or upgrade
Our in-store TechXperts will test your device to diagnose faulty issues. Our TechXperts will check the device and try to identity the problem. This is a chargeable fee and required upfront.
Once the problem has been diagnosed, you can have the device booked in for a repair (if required). The diagnostic fee (quotation fee) will be deducted from the charge of the actual repair. This means that you will not have a double payment.
You also have an option to upgrade to a new device with better performance.
Data backup & recovery
Let us help you back up your data to avoid losing critical information
Not only is losing your personal data damaging, it also exposes you to significant security risks. Our TechXperts will give you peace of mind by:
• Backing up your phone and other devices.
• Transferring your data to your new device.
It is important to backup any data when your laptop is booked in for a repair or an assessment. If data is not backed up when a laptop or similar device is repaired, hard drive changed or memory upgraded, you run the risk of losing your data and wiping information forever. The same applies when your laptop cannot be repaired and is in fact replaced by the supplier under the manufacturer’s warranty.
If your device has crashed and data has been deleted or gone missing, we will also do our best to recover it for you. As much as we provide a Data recovery service in the case of a PC or laptop crash and every effort will be made to safe your date, there is no guarantee.
Virus removals
Diagnostic tests to ensure your device works as it should
A computer virus is often malicious software that is designed to either self-replicate or copy itself onto any device that you connect to the infected laptop or PC. Unless removed correctly, it will continue to spread and infect the device and other connected devices.
If your computer is infected, you will probably experience the following:
• Slow performance with your device taking a long time to start up.
• Problems shutting down at the end of your session or restarting.
• Missing files that you suddenly can’t find.
• Error messages and various pop-up windows.
• Overworked hard drive (sounds of increased activity and a whirring noise even though you aren’t doing much).
• Spam emails.
• Browser redirects or slowness.
• Your antivirus programmes start to malfunction or firewalls become problematic.
For a small diagnostic fee, our TechXperts will identity any problems on your device. Once the problem has been diagnosed, you can have the device booked in for a repair (if required). Your diagnostic fee can then be deducted from the charge of the actual repair.
We will also transfer your data when your device is in for repair, so you don’t lose any information. We provide a data recovery service in case your computer or laptop crashes, and every effort will be made to save your data. However, in some cases, it’s simply not possible to save all your data, and this can only be determined upon assessment.

At Incredible, we can assess and repair almost any device at store level. If the unit cannot be repaired at one of our stores, the device will be booked in and shipped to our Incredible Repair Centre in Fourways, Johannesburg.

Professional installations at your home. Whether you need help setting up your new device or installing it in your home, our professional installers can help you install various smart devices.
Benefits of using a professional installation service
You may know how to install your new appliance on your own, even connect your notebook to the printer, to the monitor and your router. You may also be wary about letting strangers into your home and using a professional company to do the job may appear to be far too expensive. As much as it is often about saving a buck here and there and doing it on your own, this option can actually impact the warranty of your “electronic goods” if you install the item poorly, which may require repairs, maintenance or replacement later on.
Attempting to install large appliances by yourself can also pose a large safety risk for yourself and damage your appliance and sometimes not always be that simple.
Opting for a professional installation for your “electronic goods” is the smart way to go. We guarantee the best service available at the most competitive rates possible.
When making a booking
1. Now that you have selected your “electronic goods” and decided that the correct way forward is an installation based on your products, you need to provide some important information to the cashier.
2. The correct installation voucher (article code & description) is selected and processed by the cashier on our POS system as per your selection.
3. The cashier will ask for your full name, telephone number and physical address where the installation needs to take place.
4. No other information is required and must not be supplied.
5. The cashier then finalises the sale by your payment, allowing the system to generate a “purchase order” that is sent automatically through to the installer.
6. The “purchase order” submitted will include only the information you have provided. It is important that you check the details on the till slip presented to you. It should be the same as that of the “purchase order”.
7. The installer will then contact you telephonically within 24 hours and confirm a date and time agreed upon by both parties.
8. Note that this will exclude weekends and public holidays.

What to consider before choosing an installation?
• Is the installer able to easily access your property?
• Is the route free of obstructions and lengthy staircases?
• Is the entrance a single door (standard) or a double door? In the event of anything other than a ground floor delivery, is a lift available?
• There should be enough space to park the van (including any required parking permits) for the installation period without obstruction for the delivery crew.
• Is the item a straightforward installation? Our installers can only install to existing suitable connections. We cannot modify power supplies or make structural changes to walls or cabinets.
• If you have any pets, it’s helpful to have them kept away while your product is being installed.
• If you have chosen to have your electronic goods delivered, please take into account that timescales may increase - please allow for an extra 3-5 days depending on your location when booking your installation.
• Our Installation team will give you a call to confirm the delivery and run through this with you again.
Exclusions
• The customer shall be obliged to use any and all “electronic goods” purchased from Incredible strictly in accordance with the specifications, instructions and directions laid out by the manufacturer of such “electronic goods”.
• All “electronic goods” will be delivered or installed or both and done so in good working order.
• It is the customer’s responsibility thereafter to ensure the “electronic goods” purchased, delivered and installed, are taken care of and at all times, prevent any damage to the equipment (particularly plugs and electrical cables) that could cause harm, serious injury or death.
• Power extensions, multi plugs and other power devices are not supplied and are not part of the installation.
• Data cabling, data connection cables, routers, modems, SIM cards, Wi-Fi access points & extenders, adaptors and switches are not supplied. It is important to assess them prior to the installation.
The limitations of Wi-Fi must be taken into consideration when requesting such an installation:
a) Distance.
b) Multi-storey buildings.
c) Walls and infrastructure.
d) All Wi-Fi installations are tabletop only and do not include wall or ceiling mounted equipment.
e) If required, this will be quoted separately. Ensure that this is discussed when purchasing your installation voucher.
Have you purchased “surge protectors”?

Installation Terms & Conditions
Definitions
a) Normal working hours are between 8:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday, excluding Sunday, Public Holidays and Seasonal Holidays.
b) ‘WE / US’ – Incredible.
c) ‘You’ – the customer named in all correspondence.
Prior to Commencement
a) You must specify the height of any fixed wall shelving and opening where the appliance will be fitted.
b) You must confirm that the Installation area is in a safe condition for us to proceed and that adequate lighting is provided.
Access
a) Our pricing does not include removal or alteration of building fabric (doors, etc.) in order to gain access.
b) Our pricing does not include stripping down of any appliances in order to gain access.
c) Our pricing is for an installation to a floor with direct access. Any return visits or extra time on site due to restricted access will incur an extra cost.
Services
a) Unless we are made aware prior to installation, all services such as electric fittings, etc. should be live, tested and certified. Incredible will not be held liable for any dysfunctional services listed.
b) Client is to check load shedding schedule as Incredible will not be held responsible for load shedding. The onus will be on the customer if delivery takes place during load shedding to test the product as soon as the power is restored and inform the store of any defects or out of box failures within 24 hours of receipt and installation.
c) Electrical services are to be installed and terminated into appropriate isolators or outlets, any commando socket outlets are to be supplied complete with the plug by a qualified Electrician.
d) Our pricing is for an installation to be live, tested and certified services within 500mm of equipment position.
e) Any return visits to test or commission equipment where prior to installation we were told services were live will incur an extra cost.
f) Material Specification.
g) Electrical connections will not be conducted. Only a plug and play into a wall socket with electrical power will be conducted.
h) All countering is to be positioned, fixed and levelled by others.
i) Our pricing does include the provision of suitable means of disposal of packaging and other waste, where selected upon booking your installation.
j) Our pricing does not include making good to any decoration.
k) We reserve the right to charge for abortive visits where installation cannot take place due to reasons beyond our control.
l) Should an equipment order be cancelled any costs incurred will be recharged in full.
m) Should the customer not honour the time of delivery and installation, a new date will be set and charges will apply in full.
Liability
a) We shall not be liable for death or personal injury, except for any attributable to our negligence.
b) We do not accept liability for any damage or loss caused by a variation to the services which are connected to the equipment.
c) We do not accept liability for any damage or loss caused by the use of defective materials.
d) Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any default due to any circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, civil unrest, riot, strike, and lockout, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, flood, earthquake or shortage of supply or failure to deliver by our suppliers.
General
a) The headings in these conditions are for ease of reference only and shall not affect the interpretation of any of the conditions.
b) Each of the parties agrees that save in respect of statements made fraudulently, it shall have no remedy in respect of any untrue statement upon which it relied in entering this agreement and that its’ only remedies shall be for breach of contract.
c) We have the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Trade in value is based on the following grading criteria:
• 100% : Working (general wear and tear is acceptable).
• 90% : No power, does not switch on and water damaged.

Deliveries
Here’s answers to frequently asked questions
When will delivery take place?
• Delivery service will commence upon payment confirmation being received unless supporting documents are requested i.e. in the case of the verification of a TV License with a valid ID.
• Deliveries will generally be made within the timeframe of the selected delivery type after collection from point of dispatch and between major centres from Monday to Fridays.
• We deliver from Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00 to both business and residential addresses.
• No deliveries will be made on the weekend or any public holiday.
Pre-order delivery:
• Pre-orders attract extended delivery lead times as mandated by the supplier, and communicated on the product page.
• Your order will be dispatched on the advertised date, where after normal delivery lead times apply.
What will the delivery cost?
Delivery charges are determined by the value of the order placed.
What if I miss my delivery?
We will notify you of a failed delivery i.e. when no one can be reached at the specified delivery address to receive and sign for the goods at the scheduled time. We will reschedule the delivery as soon as possible.
What if my items are damaged, faulty or incorrectly delivered?
In the regrettable event that you receive a damaged product, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of delivery on 0860 011 700 or incredible@jdg.co.za. We will do our utmost best to have the damaged product collected and a new product delivered to you within 3 business days.
What if I receive the incorrect items or quantity of products?
Should the incorrect items or quantity of items be delivered to you, you need to notify us immediately so that we can rectify the situation. You can notify us on 0860 011 700 or incredible@jdg.co.za and we will get our team to collect the incorrect items and replace them as soon as possible.
Returns
& Refunds process:
We offer a full returns and exchanges policy. You may return or exchange goods at any one of our stores subject to producing the original receipt and ensuring the product is in its original packaging and condition. Should the product not be in its original packaging, a handling fee of up to 15% of the product’s value may be charged as per the CPA.
The following cannot be returned or refunded:
• Items specified as non-returnable/non-refundable items.
• Delivery and or installation costs.
• Pre-paid cards.
• Digital content.
• Any damaged or abused items.
Faulty/defective products after 14 days (excluding all plasma LCD & LED televisions larger than 32-inch as well as all large appliances).
Extended range
Can’t find what you’re looking for in your store? We offer a full service where you can purchase products available online and have these delivered for free in your store of choice. Alternatively, you can have your products delivered to an alternative address such as home or business for a fee.
