Mass Ideation is obsessed with innovatively evolving our business model to deliver profitable growth while leveraging the efficiencies of lean design, and using the tools available to us to bring our customers quality performance. We’ve made significant progress in these areas. But as we all know at Mass Ideation there is no reaching the top of the mountain. There is only climbing it. Our long-term goals are ambitious and we have present challenges that are substantial, complex and systemic. We know that achieving our long-term vision requires us to hold ourselves accountable for real and meaningful short-term progress. This interview is an introspective opportunity to assess the gains and shorts in the initial, mid- and longterm strategy we have for the future.
1.) How can I grow my business?
I can grow by creating systems to take on more work without my involvement. Then figure out ways to cut costs and overhead percentages so i can use that money to expand globally.
2.) How can you build a strong brand? I can build a strong brand by continuing to find innovative technologies to offer to my clients. Once we get them to understand the possibilities we will keep under promising and over delivering to make sure when they think of people they want to work with they come to us and are willing to pay what we want to charge.
3.) How can you tell which customers are important?
I can tell which customers are important by tracking which clients are the easiest to work with and pay a premium for our services. We have charts examining each relationship we have to be sure we fully understand the pros and cons to working with any company.
4.) How can you improve sales force productivity? I have hired a Sales Manager to manage the CRM data and reports to be sure I am getting to most out of all of the company leads. Having someone staying on top of every account and lead has made it easier for us to maximize and grow our relationships.
>> Collaboration is essential: In my consultive recommendation is absolutely crucial that Mass Ideation (MI) work with other players to prompt real critical mass. There is an adage that runs “1% of 100 peoples effort is better than 100% effort of my own.� Leverage is key. Embracing strategic partnerships and open-source collaboration will create leverage into complementary markets. If MI takes on proactively sharing their technology, and design tools to help create an industry standard and continue to look for ways to scale innovations at MI and across industry then they can duplicate their performance. This strategic approach can offer a gateway to working with global players.
>>Being the leader in a new technology creates competitive advantages. Looking through the creative lens of innovation, there are constant breakthroughs that occur that improve the quality of life of the residents of this planet. MI, is establishing itself as the go to expert in the new realm of augmented reality. Augmented reality transform the world. The conundrum with this technology is the mainstream awareness. If MI started giving information session, or a Ted Talk of this technology over night it would create an exponential influx of interest. The impact of this innovation on the environment will become much more significant, with little or no negative impact on MI’s ability to compete in the industry. Lastly, as a young visionary it is an effective practice to frequently ask the question’s: “Is this the best we can do?” ,and “what’s bigger than this?” Those question’s, and having a restless spirit behind it, will drive Mass Ideation more than any suggestion on how to optimize their business.
