SPECIAL GUESTS
This workshop is about the importance of creating personal work and producing photo projects that fulfill our desire and passion for photography, not simply creating assignment work for clients. Students will feel invigorated to reconnect with their photography and explore various artistic means and methods of expression.

Through slide lectures, critiques, and hands-on shooting assignments, Tenneson will seek to empower participants to create personal portraits that explore intimacy and psychological complexity.
This dynamic workshop covers three types of lighting: 1) Studio strobes (big) with umbrellas, soft boxes and grid spots 2) Portable flash (small) with modifiers, used off camera, and by remote, and 3) Natural light with reflectors and diffusers. Students will shoot in the studio and on location putting lectures into practice.

Learn how to discover the true core of your subjects in storyline and psychology in this weekend-intensive workshop with Greg Miller. FINE ART
This conceptual fine art photography course teaches students to develop their ideas and pre-think before shooting. Concepts will be discussed, critiqued and communicated amongst the class, with weekly assignments designed to inspire clever visualization. The goal is to provide students a new workflow that cultivates concept and planning creative work, laying the foundation to create a series of conceptual fine art images.
The Daily Visual workshop is designed to motivate students to shoot every day, no matter what. Students will develop a 24/7 “mind set,” discover interesting visuals that incorporate emotional light, and raise their level of awareness. Assignments will be given to strengthen students’ point of view, sharpen their eye for discovery, and challenge the structure of how they photograph.
This workshop will explore the world of portraiture, the basics of natural and artificial lighting, and the psychology of dealing with people. Visual interpretation of subject matter will be stressed as a creative approach to portraiture. Further emphasis will be on body language, interesting backgrounds and shooting environments, and paying attention to visual design, overall composition, and eye movement within the frame.
