New Taipei City, Taiwan | 2021 The first floor public spaces adopt a delicate modern Japanese style influenced by the design direction of Japanese Architect Takahisa Kato. The nested box concept combines wooden framework structures, lattice patterns, and the Japanese design principle of celebrating the relationship between the interior and exterior environments.

Reception
The residential lobby and commercial lobby each share in the same aesthetic vision but accomplish it through different materials and textures. The commercial lobby utilizes terrazzo walls and wood tone lattice work, but the residential lobby is elevated with marble wall tiles and gold tone lattice work. IDP Taipei Office
Reception
The new offices of IDP and IELTS serve students who are interested in studying in English speaking countries, opening doors and building bridges for them. The new office has restrictions on floor height and lighting, so creating a clear work space under these limitations is a key aspect of this design solution. The focus of the space planning is to clearly divide the functions of IDP and IELTS, so that the traffic flow can be efficient for all users. In the IDP office block, student areas have a good connection with the surrounding spaces but remain private. The IELTS department will have independent entrances and exits to connect the examination room for easy management. The visual organization is based on the logo colors of IDP. Alternating color blocks, in orange, green and blue, take the logo into three dimensional space. In the work area, the seat configuration of both supervisors and employees is optimally distributed. The general seating area adopts an open configuration to improve the comfort of the space. The meeting room implements flexible design, which can be merged with its external space to form a large meeting space for 50-60 people. One of the conference rooms has a casual layout for meetings, adjacent with the employees’ open-style dining and kitchen, allowing for casual friendships.
