Improve KPIs with Dynaway EAM Does your company face the challenge of reducing costs on production equipment? Today, production sites are heavily dependent on machinery running continuously on the factory floor. That means that machine malfunctions, interruptions, and production stops increase production costs and have a crucial impact on a company’s market position and competitive edge.
Dynaway EAM features With Dynaway EAM you will be able to answer important questions such as:
99 How much time do you use on run-in procedures on a machine? 99 How many resources are used for planned and non-planned maintenance tasks? 99 How often and for how long do you register downtime on a machine? 99 What are the typical failures registered on your production equipment? 99 What are the maintenance costs of the machine? 99 Which spare parts do you need to have on stock? 99 What is the life expectancy of the machine?
Customers say stem, Microsoft Dynamics AX. This integration has taught us a lot of things that we think will ultimately help the rest of the Daka Group. The solution gathers information for us, so we are getting better and better at maintaining our production facilities. This is true of the many pumps that keep everything circulating through the plant. We get information about which repairs we have made on individual pumps, and even though we have only been operating for a few years, we are building a knowledge base that enables us to predict what the equipment needs to perform optimally.” Eric Mansic, Factory Manager Dantherm DAKA Biodiesel
”We want to minimize sudden maintenance events and optimize scheduled maintenance programs. This is why we implemented Dynaway EAM. It helps us optimize maintenance costs, and it uses a very detailed plan that continually indicates which components need service or maintenance. The solution also allows us to pool maintenance tasks so we minimize the number of long production stops. It’s like giving the entire plant an extra lube job. Everything integrates with our inventory and ERP sy-
“The Asset Service Management solution was added on top of our Microsoft finance system. Integration between the two systems gives us a good overview of our service technicians and the spare parts they need in the field – and this really makes a difference since we have sold more than half a million air conditioners to mast operators around the world.” Henrik Hersted, After Sales Support Manager
Asset Service Management If your company manages service agreements and performs maintenance and repair jobs on customer equipment, you are able to solve those tasks effectively and efficiently using Dynaway Asset Service Management (ASM).
Dynaway EAM allows you to easily manage typical tasks relating to maintenance of your production equipment. During setup of your production equipment in EAM, you create machines (objects) and object locations for each company site.
Objects as well as object locations can be created in a hierarchical structure. Furthermore, you specify technical data relating to the objects, for example, instructions, checklists, and approved spare parts, failure types, and maintenance sequences.
Maintenance planning
Preventive maintenance
Handle planning of maintenance employees using work order scheduling. Who is available? Do we dispose of the required tools to perform the task? Do we have the required spare parts on stock?
Handle preventive maintenance by using maintenance sequences, which are based on calendar (date, time, day,...), counters (produced units, hours, miles,...), and equipment condition.
Maintenance execution
Corrective maintenance
Keep track of maintenance execution using, for example work order reports, checklists, condition assessment, and registration of hours, costs, and spare part consumption.
Perform corrective maintenance by handling service requests, creating and executing work orders.
Follow up on maintenance tasks Follow up on production equipment maintenance comparing actual costs to budget and analyzing performance history including fault registrations and related corrections.
