Prudentialhomesale.com - Home Finder Signing Up A New Client

If you are working with a buyer, you are able to sign them up to receive automatic emails containing homes that meet their search criteria. These emails will show homes that have just been listed or that have had a price reduction. 1. To sign them up please go to your Agent Website http://YourDomain.com or your Prudential Profile Page: http://prudentialhomesale.com/firstname.lastname 2. At the top of the page, Under My Home Finder, click on “Create an Account”. A sign-up form will open, fill in your client’s information. If you do not know their email address, use yours and then forward the search results email to them later.

3. Input the search criteria that your client is seeking. Select the County, School Districts (You can choose multiples by holding ctrl and clicking on them), Price Range, and other Features. Once the criteria is entered, click “Proceed to Step 3”.

5. A display of Active Listings will appear. You must click “Save This Search”.

6. Next you will need to give the search a title, choose how often you would like your client to receive these emails, check the save listings box, and click “Finish”. From this point on, new listings and listings with price changes will be emailed to the consumer.

Creating a Saved Search for Someone with a Home Finder Account 7. To login to the backend of your website: Go to http://Prudentialhomesale.com click on “Agent only login” at the bottom of the page

9. Click on the “Leads & Contacts” Tab and then click on “Processed Leads & Contacts”. Uncheck any Filters and click “Update”.

10. Any Client categorized as “Portfolio Only” has created a HomeFinder Account. Next to his/her name, under “Actions” click “View”.

11. A screen will display with the consumer’s email, viewed listings, and saved listings. If you click on viewed listings you will get an idea of what area and price range the person is interested in, saved listings will give you an even better idea of what they are look for. If there are no saved searches, reach out to them. Email the consumer and tell them that you would be happy to set them up for automatic emails with their search criteria. Provide them with this convenience and with your expertise (of the area, or other homes in the area).

12. Close the above window, and click on “Edit” next to the consumer’s name. A new window will open with their HomeFinder login information. Write down their Email and Portfolio Password and then close the window below.

12. Open the consumer side of your Agent Website and enter in the HomeFinder Email and Password, then click “Login”.

13. Click on “Overview”, if this isn’t displaying you may need to refresh the webpage.

14. An overview of “Saved Listings” and “Homes I Have Viewed” will display. Where it says “Saved Searches” click on “Create a New Search” 15. Refer back to and follow steps #4-6.

How to Modify an Existing Search 16. Login to the HomeFinder Account with your buyer’s email and your password. You may need to refresh the page, click Overview if needed. a. To delete the search click “X” to the right of the Search Title b. To modify the search click “Run Search Now” and then click “OK”. April-11 revision

c. Click “Modify Search”

d. Change the search criteria and click “Search Now” e. When the search results are displayed again, click “Update Saved Search”.

Editing Your HomeFinder Settings 17. You will need to login to the backend of your website. (See Steps #7&#8). Click on the “Leads & Contacts” tab on the main menu and then click the “Settings” tab on the sub-menu. 18. To have yourself Carbon Copied on the Automatic HomeFinder emails that are sent to your clients: Scroll down to Automatic home finder and click the carbon copy check box April-11 revision

19. To have HomeFinder Lead notices sent to your email: Scroll down to Email Settings and type your email in the “Send lead notices to” box. You can also add your Leads & Contacts Email Signature (be sure it is compliant).

20. To receive Lead Notices via text message: Fill in your cell phone number and your phone provider. 21. To have new leads created when someone creates a HomeFinder account or home search, check both of the boxes at the bottom of the screen.

*Be Sure to Click “Save Preferences” to Save Any of the Changes in steps #17-21*

Changing the content of System generated e-mails 21. Click the “preferences” main tab, and email messages on the sub-tab a. Scroll to the second message (Listings have been found) Make changes as needed.

NOTE: Make sure not to change the values in <<>>, you can edit anything else. b. You can also change the message for New Photo portfolio and New portfolio accounts. Scroll down the page to edit those.

Access Seller Reports 22. Click the “Listings” tab. 23. Choose “click here” under the view stats column and it will display the traffic that the listing has been getting from your website & prudentialhomesale.com
