Scott Levinson V.P. Business Operations Scott is a graduate of the University of Kansas. Scott’s entire career has been in marketing and promotions, spending the first nine years of his career as Marketing Director for the Kansas and Western Missouri Hooters Restaurant franchise. Scott then went on to become Marketing and Promotions Director for Union Broadcasting’ Sports Radio 810 WHB in 2001, putting on some of the biggest events for the station, including the Jim Rome Tour Stop. Scott left the station in 2004 to start his own corporate events company, which he still operates today. Growing up, Scott was a huge Comets fan, and was honored to be able to help bring back the thrill & excitement of professional indoor soccer to Kansas City in 2010. Scott played high school soccer at Shawnee Mission South, & still plays indoor soccer every Tuesday night. Scott also coaches his two daughters’ outdoor soccer teams in Overland Park.
Jeff Husted Director of Sales & Marketing, Media/Public Relations Jeff is excited to be a member of the Comets family. Jeff grew up in Littleton, Colorado and began playing soccer at the age of six. He moved to Kansas to attend Tabor College in 1995 where he was a four-year starter and letter-winner. Jeff has worked in sports extensively. In 2006 he moved to Kansas City to become a Sports Marketing Manager for the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network. He spent several years there and two seasons with 610 Sports and the Royals Radio Network before joining the Comets staff in 2010. Jeff, along with his wife and two children, live in Olathe, KS. When he’s not working he spends his time watching his daughter play soccer, playing transformers with his son or cheering on his favorite football, hockey and soccer teams.
Charleen ‘Charlie’ Keller Director of Ticket Operations Charlie is from Kansas City, MO and quickly found a love for soccer and dance. Hard work for both sports earned her amazing travel throughout the U.S. as well as international travel to Italy, Germany, and Czech Republic for soccer at the age of 16. Charlie attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO where she was a four year letterman for the women’s soccer team as well as the dance team. Along with soccer nationals, Charlie competed in the UDA College Dance Nationals in Orlando, FL all four years, placing in the Top 10 2004-2006 and Top 5 in 2003. Since college, she has coached and taught dance throughout the Midwest ranging from studio dance to semi-pro dance teams. She is a former coach for Futura FC and currently teaches dance at All About Dance By Katye
