PROFILES Megan Adams graduated with her B.A. in dance from Columbia College Chicago in December of 2008. She has performed in various student works at Columbia College. Under professional direction she performed in the original cast of “Liquidate” by Kate Corby, “More Vigorous Than Empathy” by Margaret Morris and “Set and Reset/Reset” choreographed by Trisha Brown under the direction of Mariah Maloney. Adams choreographed a site-specific piece, “Universal Ancestor” performed at Columbia’s writing center and “Time Stories” performed at the Dance Center of Columbia College. She is also emerging into the new medium of dance for camera and has created two works “Time Memories” and “Line/Age”, a digital seed to Line/Age Working/Relations.
Stephanie Williams graduated from Columbia College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in teaching dance. Williiams has choreographed various works including “1980; Until I’m Full” and “Where it’s Sore”. Williams believes in pulling from her own experience as well as her dancers in order to provide the audience with a visceral and honest work.
Betsy Clapsaddle is a Nashville based artist, Betsy Clapsaddle gets her inspiration while traveling to new places. Formally trained in landscape architecture, Betsy’s eye is focused on the beauty of the natural and built environment. Her art began as a method of communicating design ideas to clients with photographs and sketches. Betsy organized this communication tool into an art form to express the beauty she sees in everyday life. She enjoys bringing her vision to reality and molding an idea into a tangible item.
Katie Coverso will graduate with a BA, in Dance, this fall. Converso has studied at the Merce Cunningham Studio, in three Summer Intesive workshops, and is enrolled in the Professional Training Program. Converso was also the Studio intern in the summer of 06’, She has performed in numerous Choreographic Projects, Faculty Concerts, Student Performance Nights, and was a guest dancer in the RPW Merce Cunningham MinEvent,
Christine DeAlba was born in Chicago. She is a senior in Columbia College Chicago's dance program. She is excited to perform at Links Hall with Megan.
Jennifer Garduno is a dance major atCoumbia College Chicago with a minor in business. Jennifer graduated from the Chicago Academy for the arts in 2005 with a concentration in dance. She has had the opportunity to perform works by Randy Duncan, Anna Paskevska, Eduardo Vilaro, Pam McNeil, Aubrey Ruettiger, Kesha Johnson, Amy Spektor, and Taiyana Shurn.

Jacqui Lay hails from sunny southern California. She fell in love with contemporary dance while living in Seattle, and followed the dance’s sweet scent to Columbia College Chicago. Jacqui studied with many of the world’s dance luminaries, earning a B.A. in dance. Jacqui is also a registered Yoga teacher. You can find her behind the bar on the weekends, where she derives ample enjoyment from crafting frou frou pink cocktails for indecisive burly men.
Shannon McGuire began classical training in Chicago at the age of twelve. She attended numerous studios and graduated from Curie Metropolitan High School as a dance major. McGuire graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance. Recently, McGuire performed in the The Repertory Performance Workshop at Columbia College Chicago which featured work by Twyla Tharp set by Jennifer Way Rawe, Paige Cunningham, and Matthew Hollis. McGuire is honored to be performing in by Stpehanie Williams.
Ally Trimarco began her modern dance training under Julia Rhoads of Lucky Plush Profuctions. Shes has performed with the childrens cast of The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago’s Nutcracker and was a recent member of Xtreme Dance Force seen on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.
