Jeffrey Laino, born on July 12, 1981, in Hackensack, New Jersey, has always called the state home. His upbringing was shaped by a diverse cultural background, with his father being of Italian descent and his mother having a mix of Irish, German, and Swiss heritage. This blend of cultures has given him a broad perspective on life, fostering a sense of adaptability and understanding that has influenced his personal and professional development. Jeffrey’s educational journey began in the local school system, where he attended Washington School and then Westwood Junior High School. He graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in 1999, setting the stage for his future academic pursuits. After high school, he briefly studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before transferring to Ramapo College of New Jersey. At Ramapo, he majored in information systems technology, a field that intrigued him due to its relevance to business and technology. His dedication to his studies earned him a spot in the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society, which recognizes academic excellence and leadership in business administration. In 1996, Jeffrey began his professional career as a skate guard and party planner at The Rink in Montvale, NJ. His lifelong love for hockey and natural organizational skills made him a perfect fit for this role. During his three years there, he gained invaluable experience in event planning and customer service, skills that would benefit his career. He often recalls this period fondly, recalling how it helped him develop a strong work ethic and a knack for managing people and logistics. In 1999, Jeffrey shifted gears and joined Architectural Window Manufacturing Corporation (AWMC), a family business founded by his grandfather. Initially, he worked on developing inventory management systems and part numbering schemes, but as the company grew, his role expanded to include more technical responsibilities.
