SUMMARY REVIEW (required - not more than 200 words): People skills are identified as a major driver of managerial success in economic downturn, under stressed labor relationships. The role of Total Quality Management for team formation is broadly discussed, with respect to international standard literature. A set of four decisive conclusions is given as empirical result. REVIEW IN FREE FORM: The research article deals with an important managerial problem. Labor markets, economic conditions and technical applications do fluctuate under international competition and innovation. People skills become, therefore, crucial for the managerial and economic survival of enterprises. The text draws conclusions from the view of Total Quality Management and team formation, highlighting the managerial role of effective human co-operation.
SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS FOR AUTHORS TO IMPROVE OR EXTEND THEIR WORK: It is a long title for a short work. The paper is really about people skills for effective management, and the stressful conditions of economic hardship are only highlighted in the background; this also refers to the economic conditions of the labor market. The managerial topic of the paper is economically important, but the logical form of the research article underperforms, in terms of analytical and practical presentation. To sum it up: some more intellectual creativity/curiosity could add salt to the soup.

Notes for Editorial Board (optional, but not more than 50 words): The title of the paper is misleading. Would be better to ‘simplify’ it, something like: The Economic Significance of People Skills for Effective Enterprise Management.
