The Trap tells the coming-of-age story of Jonah, a teenager who grew up and lives in an impoverished and harsh environment. With the lacking but persuasive parental presence that his mother instils in him as well as the pressures of the peers that he surrounds himself with, Jonah is stuck in between living either the fast or slow side of life. However, a life-changing event ultimately pushes him to choose one or the other. The book is entirely visual, with little to no narrative text available for the reader to follow the story with, instead the story is told through the illustrated actions that is being portrayed in every page, with certain objects highlighted in order to support and give meaning and symbolism to the story. The book is accompanied by three posters, stickers and a wooden chain as part of a "Limited Collector's Edition" package.
