ASSISTED LIVING

Bonzai 3D, Photoshop

01

PROCESS

The concept for the design was to caress and create more intimate spaces within an open environment. The wrapping forms represent this relationship and help to define the different zones of the center.

PROCESS

The trusses and beam system define the spaces and create a visual connection that represents the collaborative nature of the company. The gird was derived from the city planning to connect the building to the site.

PROCESS

The concept for the design was to merge the interior environment with the natural surroundings. There was also a strong emphasis on blending the boundary between the old barn and the expansion of the new wing.

PROCESS

I was inspired by Michael Samoriz Outline Chair made of wood. I decided to reinterpret the form and create a frame made out of metal with a wood back and seat.
