Powerspread Pro SWB
6 | Lutey Agricultural
With high capacity and output the Powerspread Pro (short wheel base) chops and spreads both solids and liquids. A reverse drive facility and hydraulically lowering rotor comes as a standard on sizes from 1800 to 2300 gallons. Other specifications include: • High torque single speed chain • Reverse drive • Fast discharge 1.4m wide overshot rotor • Rotor hinges down hydraulically for foreign object removal • 650-65R30.5 tyres Common design features to all models is the tapered tub design and unique contra rotating auger that pulls dung from both the front and rear of the spreader to the patented centrally opening door. This produces a ‘boiling’ action inside the spreader when applying a fine coating of
manure and reduces the stresses on the body of the spreader. The door of the Powerspread is vertically lifting thus allowing the full width of the impeller to be used at all times, the impeller itself is overshot in design, or spinning upwards, at 700rpm which makes for a very fine fragmentation, which is essential for grassland work, and gives spread widths in excess of 20 metres. Once again, design and the manufacturing process were of primary importance, with the following technical characteristics: electroplating and powder coating, reinforced gearboxes, twin marine chains, semi-automatic tensioners, guillotine slurry door.
Different beater frame options for different needs: rotor thickness from 6 to 20mm. Diameter from 720 to 930mm. Hardox wear plates on some models, over-run clutch, reinforced gearboxes with self aligned coupling. Other options – independent hydraulics, wind rowing panels, load camera to survey emptying, slurry door indicator.

700 Diesel
12 | Lutey Agricultural
Super duty diesel 686cc engine with switchable 2WD and 4WD. Arctic Cat H2 and H1 engines have to be at the forefront of conversation. While the H1 in our 700, 550 and 450 machines displays plenty of ultrasmooth force as well. These engines are built with a Pentroof Hemispherical
