Mauricio Gaitan was my politics teacher at the university. He was my

teacher and director of thesis on early childhood.

On the other hand, he was the winner of 2015 INNOVA.

He’s the only professor at the faculty who is not an economist. He graduated from the Javeriana University in politic science. He wasn’t the best teacher for everybody but she was for me.

He was born and lives in Bogota. He’s not my teacher now but he is my friend.

Last year we were in Valledupar on a tour of the faculty. Besides being a great teacher he is a very pleasant and nice person.

Why was an influential person for me?

Because, he thought me to see the human side of my career. Also he was the first that led me to the political side of the economy.
