What is AIAEE? The Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE) was established in 1984 to provide a professional association to network agricultural educators and extension personnel who share the common goal of strengthening agricultural and extension education programs and institutions worldwide. People interested in agricultural and extension education as a critical component of national development should join AIAEE. Current members come from universities, extension programs, private voluntary organizations, agri-business, international agencies, foundations, and financial institutions. AIAEE thrives on the diversity of its membership.
Why Join AIAEE? In today’s complex and interdependent world, agricultural development must be seen in the broader context of holistic development. Agricultural educators and extensionists around the world must work together and in partnerships with others. AIAEE provides a forum for professional networking, dialogue and learning. AIAEE membership benefits include the following: • Participation in the annual conference, which features refereed research presentations, posters and professional development workshops • Subscription to the AIAEE Journal, published three times annually, known as the premier scholarly journal in its field • Participation in AIAEE association management through committee services • Subscription to the The Informer, the official AIAEE newsletter, which is published three times annually and provides communication networks for AIAEE members • Subscription to a private AIAEE e-mail listserv
JIAEE JIAEE is the official peer-reviewed, refereed publication of AIAEE.
