THE ART OF FOOD Creating captivating food imagery requires an expert understanding of light, composition and styling. We aim to style each shot based on the unique characteristics of the food so that it truly captures the essence of the flavor and ingredients and the personality of the Chef creating it. Our studio provides styling and conceptual guidance in helping to achieve the desired presentation - allowing clients to focus on their true talents - making amazing food! We use a combination of natural light and strobes tocreate dramatic, provocative scenes to highlight both the food and the environment. The most important thing that we do is create beautiful imagery in a style that reflects the philosophy of your craft.

When I see an incredible photo of food - one that instantly activates my hunger pangs - I get weak in the knees. It’s like a switch that goes off. Something about how the light sculpts the dish, the color, the textures that makes me believe I can almost taste it. I literally have to have it - or cook it - immediately. It is this kind of emotion that first unleashed my passion for capturing food in the first place. That an inanimate object can evoke such a visceral response just sitting there, being beautiful, waiting to be eaten, completely inspired me. And thus my love of Food Photography was born.

Jenna Walcott is a photographer specializing in creating distinct imagery of Food, People and Things. Jenna’s photography is both Editorial and Styled, creating elements of art and authenticity in every shot. Since her first photographic assignment in 1998, she has been carefully honing her craft and finding new ways to combine her

Her personal passions are closely linked to the types photography she offers and the connections she creates between her subjects and the camera make each client experience fun and unique. Jenna is also the co-owner of W-Films, a video production company with a focus on food industry clientele.
