Letter from the Editor

Easter Bunny’s on his way! It is April 6th today (yes a few weeks ago from when you are probably reading this) and at least we have a mild Spring day here in Las Vegas. It has been a real roller coaster of a weather pattern here in the West, but I have been all for it. Keeps us on our toes and shakes things up. Speaking of keeping you on your toes, we have had lots of changes around here in the shop. You may or may not have noticed. There are even some fun rumors going around this small community of sewists. I just want you all to rest assured that everything is just fine here on the home front.

We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary in just a weeks’ time and we are looking forward to 20 more with you. I can remember that first crazy, exciting day when we opened our doors. So many of you that were there that day are still loyal customers. That is a true testament for us and we can’t express how much you all mean to us. From customers to true friends and even like family, many of you have become. We love you all so much and are so excited for many more years to come. Thank you for the love and support you have shown us, and we are grateful for you all.

You may have noticed that we are clearing out our inventory of Baby Lock machines. While we have enjoyed collaborating and supporting this brand, we have made a tough decision to close out our inventory. Sometimes things just don’t work out how you had hoped for, but we wholeheartedly enjoyed our time with these machines and all the great people this brand has brought us along the way. If you are a Baby Lock customer of ours, please know that we are here to help and support you during this transition. We can continue to service your machine and if you need more than that, there is another great dealership here in Las Vegas to help you. If you have been thinking about owning a Baby Lock, please don’t hesitate to get a great deal from Bob while you still can.

Now, let’s get excited about what is coming up this summer! We know this time of year usually means lots of fun trips out of town, and that is fantastic. Just make sure you schedule some sewing time for yourself or join us for one of the many all-day sewing opportunities in our classroom. It will be like a sewing vacation for you…or a SEWcation! Wait…we have an official SEWcation on the schedule in July for two stitch filled days and an Ice Cream SEWcial in the shop the same weekend. That means if you join us for the SEWcation, you won’t miss out on any Ice Cream on Saturday. Now that is Double Dipping!
