Reducing Stress Caused By Chronic Insomnia Insomnia is the scientific term used to describe a state of sleeplessness. An individual suffering from chronicle insomnia will experience an inability or difficulty in falling asleep for prolonged periods spanning, days, weeks or even months. Insomnia is also used to describe alternative sleeping disorders like waking up abruptly from sleep, sleep walking, sleep biting, etc. Insomnia broadly classified into primary and secondary insomnia.
