Alamo Community College District at St. Philip’s College - Bowden Technology Building, SanAntonio TX 2020 to 2021 // 24,900 sf // $10.8M Joined team as PA during CA phase to manage campus utility expansion and building construction of a 2 story academic building with an emphasis on technology systems. Building includes general purpose classrooms, IT labs to support CyberRange program, and faculty of ces. RELLIS Academic Complex Phase 2, College Station TX 2019 to 2021 // 48,000 sf // $22.3M PA for duration of design and construction of 3 story academic building with pedestrian connection to Phase 1 building. Phase 2 includes 75 seat auditorium, seminar rooms, engineering labs, SCADA lab, resource library, faculty of ces, and a variety of study zones. Project had a fast track construction schedule with 3 permit packages and 7 month design schedule to accommodate completion to align with the academic calendar. University of California at Merced 2020 Campus Expansion - 3C Student Housing Building, Merced CA 2017 to 2019 // 127,000 sf // $48.2M PA for design/build project of 225 bed dormitory, student activity center, and classrooms. Housing unit expansion to 450 beds deployed in 2022. Project achieved LEED gold and early project delivery by 1 year. PA for duration of building design and construction of 110 year culinary program. Four story building includes 5 teaching kitchens + classrooms, 2 restaurants with full commercial kitchens, 100 seat lecture hall with removable demonstration kitchen, faculty of ces, food storage, and ballroom. Extensive value engineering process led to a shell out package that was priced but ultimately added back into the base building. Tracked 3 design packages and issued 2 for permit.
Austin Community College Round Rock Campus, Round Rock TX 2016 to 2018 // 45,500 sf // $26.1M PA for design and construction of three story building with general classrooms, biology lab, faculty of ces, and 10,000 sf computer lab + teaching center. Building development included parking for 300 and tracked for LEED silver during design. Texas Facilities Commission Capital Area Masterplan, Austin TX 2016 // 40 blocks Assisted in documentation (through photography, writing and test ts) for the 2016 Texas Capitol Masterplan update. Masterplan included architectural, landscape and infrastructure guidelines for future development of the 40 blocks owned by the State. Document was used to secure funding from the Texas legislature to implement the rst phase of the masterplan which included 4 blocks of underground parking, 1.1 million sf of high rise of ces, and a tree lined mall to promote outdoor gatherings within the Capitol Complex. University of Texas Collections Master Plan and Formation Study, Austin TX 2015 Assisted in documenting proposal and managing user groups for the long term storage needs of the Briscoe Center, Harry Ransom Center, and UT Library System. Proposal included removal of archives from main campus into an expansion of the Library Storage Facility at the Pickle Research Campus. The study was completed in conjunction with a preservation specialist for archival matter. Texas Archeological Research Laboratory Space Study, Austin TX 2015 Assisted in documenting proposal for expansion and renovation of TARL facility to improve collection storage at the Pickle Research Campus. Proposal was developed to lobby for an increase of state funding in order to maintain the status of largest archeological depository in the state. University of Texas Robert B.
