Jennifer Wilson-Niskanen

Silly facebook won't let me choose Blackstock ON as my hometown. Imagine that! I moved around quite a bit as a kid anyway, but I was always in Durham Region. I went to Prince Albert Public School, Thorton, S.J. Phillips, Cornation, and Cartwright public school. Then came Cartwright High and my last year at Port Perry High. I got my BA and BED at Lakehead University and taught a year at Kapuskasing High. I married David Niskanen in 2000 and after that I went to college in North Bay for a year and took Interactive Multimedia. We moved back to Thunder Bay where I eventually got a job I loved with the Unitarian Church but when we decided to really focus on starting a family, we moved to Nipigon. Just when we were really starting to worry the stork would never arrive, we were blessed with our son Kai in 2007.
