HOSPITALITY DESIGN
A B O U T M E
I am from New York studying to get a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from High Point University. What I love most about design is creating a space for my client to enjoy, that is functional not only for them but could also be useful for people in the future. I love picking out FF&E elements that fit my clients wants and needs to make a successful design for years to come. I specialize in residential design but also enjoy working with commerical design specifically office buildings, or hospitality. Travel sparks my inspiration for future projects that I endure. One of my favorite plaaces to go is Charleston, South Carolina. There is so much history there that is still preserved within the buildings and other peices of architecture that I find so fascinating and beautiful. Furthermore, I am planning on traveling to Florence Italy in the spring of 2020 to complete a semester abraod and earn a certificate in sustainable furniture design. I draw a lot of my inspiration design based on textiles or fabrics that I see. I like to incorporate something different that I haven't seen before into designs so it makes that specifc design unique. I tend to lean towards calmer, neutral tones of colors for my designs but enjoy working with other colors as well.

Coffee Shop and Co-Working Space Location: Charlotte,
North Carolina
Client: Matthew Dwyer,
a business man in his mid-forties, has a passioon for coffee and achitecutre. He is an entrepreneur who enjoys the feelings of working from coffee-shops. He wouldlike to contime the trent of a co-working space and blend it with a coffee shop. This space will merge both ideas providing indibials with small businesses or those who work remotely the opportunity to get out of their home office to have an affordable designated workspace. These individuals will beable to not only share a common space but equipment, ideas and a community.

Sketch-up Renderings The use of different shades of green are used within the building entirely to not only tie in biophilic design but, to create a calming environment for those who choose to work or visit. Different forms of division are present throughout the shop providing separation and privacy between areas. The furniture and fnishes are based on an industrial style with a hint of modernity.

A conference/ educational room is located on the first floor to anyone who would like to renti it out but more importantly for the individuals to have meetings or conferences that rent out the co-working spaces on the second floor.
Co-Working working stations are located on the second floor of the building. This space can only be accessed by renters for use as their own offices.

JORDAN BONE
RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
CLIENT: JORDAN BONE STYLE: TRANSITIONAL GLAM THIS HOME WILL BE CREATED FOR JORDAN BONE, AND HER DAUGHTER ELLIE. EACH SPACE AND ELEMENT IN THE HOME WILL BE WELL THOUGHT OUT AS ATRANSITIONAL STYLE WITH A LITTLE BIT OFGLAM ADDED IN. MOST ITEMS ARE GOING TO BE BASED OFF OF A PINK PALETTE WITH OTHER COLORS TO ACCENTUATE CERTAIN SPACES. A 5’ TURN RADIUS WILL BE AT SIGNIFICANT CHANGES OF DIRECTION AROUND THE HOUSE AS WELL AS SPECIFIC ADA GUIDELINES LIKE TOEKICKS AND REACHABLE HEIGHTS. THE HOME WILL REFLECT JORDANS STYLE AND ALSO BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE GUESTS.

BUBBLE DIAGRAMS
THE BUBBLE DIAGRAM I LIKED THE MOST WAS #4. I DECIDED TO SWITCH A FEW THINGS AROUND FOR WHEN I WENT INTO THE BLOCK DRAWING BUT OVERALL I ENJOY HOW SPACIOUS JORDANS BEDROOM CAN BE. ALL ROOMS ALSO COINCIDED WITH THE ADJACENCY MATRIX THAT WAS MADE.

Pattern Sheets Concept: Hierarchy To convery the pattern f hierarchy I researched different items that contain the idea. I found chess pieces and put them onto illustrater to trace, then tried out different design compositions. I enevtually found that I liked the concept that includes the king, bishop, and knight. These pieces go in order of the hierarchy in which you can see the top of the kinds peice, part of the bishop and the knight patrodes off to the left. To push my design further, I put a checkerboard design for texture on the piece.

HIERARCHY INSPIRATION: ● I LOOKED ON GOOGLE AND PINTEREST TO FIND AN IDEA THAT TO ME BEST REPRESENTED HIERARCHY ● THOUGHT OF MOUNTAINS BECAUSE THE HIGHER YOU GET THE TOUGHER, AND STEEPER IT GETS. SHOWS DOMINANCE ● ENDED UP SEEING CHESS PIECES AND THOUGHT IT WAS PERFECT
INSPIRATION FOUND ON INTERNET
BASIS OF IDEA: ● I DREW EACH PIECE OUT TO DEVELOP MY IDEAS ● FOUND IMAGES ONLINE AND TRACED THEM IN ILLUSTRATOR

This project was started on auto-cad to develop the floor plan and then transfered into revit to build up a model of the space. After furniture was added the rendering process started. To complete the project, photoshop details of accent pieces and a silhouette in each space was added to show a successful and cohesive design.
