Hello! I’m a multi-disciplinary designer from Taiwan; previously, working at Fabrica ( Italy) as product designer. With passion in infusing observation and story into objects and background in understanding craftsmanship, I’m interested in how to give a poetic touch to our everyday product / object/ space & experience from concept to detail presence.

Circle Prim
Days after days, we’re pursuing love, career, fame, money;the motivation behind is actually simple - finding something that completes you. A circle shape is a perfect symbol of completeness.the circle itself it’s invisible from the surface of the object; you can only see it before your wear it and after you took it off. the circle beneath can be interpret in two way: maybe what you have achieved today is a further step to your completeness or after introspection, you’ll find out that what you considered as incomplete, is actually completeness itself.
01_outer mind/ with same polished metal on the cover, the outermind series are designed for those who want to reminds themselves while they’re wearing it. 02_inner soul/ with different material covered over the mirror part, it’s a protection for those whom prefer to keep the introspection invisible from others. 01

Translation I
Translation, as the connection of two languages, presents genuine status with one’s interpretation. From drawings of imaginary wires to wearable objects.

With the process of handcrafting and thinking, it embodied a genuine status of realizing one's identity with translation as bound between two culture in comparison from transition between medium.
Translation I is a collection of wearable objects, it was presented in UMPRUM Leto exhibition and “Generation of Complex” exhibition in Prague and Taipei.

Translation II Extended from "translation I", the main idea of this series is focusing on the adoption of translation. Using brass tube to imply the presence of our language and culture carrier, whereas brass wires simply presents as translation it self.
Translation II is collection of wearable objects, it was presented as my BA diploma work in "Handmade, sweaty sister" exhibition in Taipei

Vehicle of love DESIGNERBOX
Inspired by vehicles of the future and the meditative function of candles, Vehicle of Love is an inner transportation candle holder, bringing us to find love within our daily life.
Sketches
Step 1: close eyes, tune in with your breathes, focus point on the candle flame Step2: picture yourself moving along with inner vehicle toward the peace and love feeling. Step 3: finishing by placing the dome back on the holder.
This project is commissioned by DESIGNERBOX (Design brand from Paris) for Salone del Mobile 2017 and shown in United Colors of Benetton Duomo shop for weekly voting event inside of the shop and online.

Inspired by nostalgic memories of the gentle Pacific waves found in Taiwan, Hai is a collection of glass comprised of a vase, bowl and tray. Together they act as a mini scene of relaxation and a reminder of home when we are far away..

This project is commissioned by ARS FABRICANDI (Design brand from Brussels) for Salone del mobile 2017, and exhibited with all the furniture and objects from the brand at Palazzo Litta, Milano.

Lonely profile lines GUR
Imaginary profile lines illustrate the cut through the solitude and repetitive routine of a daily life in city.
Concept exploration drawings
Lonely profile lines is inspired by industrial technical drawing, the profile shows the cut through view of what’s within an object which is not evident from the appearance. With lines that forms as similar unit but facing different direction; it’s an interpretation of solitude within hustle-bustle city life.
This is a collaboration with GUR, all handmade with artisan in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. With this project, we invited the founder Célia Esteves to fabrica, guiding a workshop and sharing with us techniques how each GUR is created.

Flora United colors of Benetton
"Flower swaying in the soft wind of spring, it shaped the posture of the flowers. Now, it’s your most beautiful time, don’t waste it. you belong to no one, free to swing along the rhythm of the garden."
Flora is a flower container installation set, which imitates the sprouting moment of the spring and function as a carrier of our flower.
Actual exhibition in Triennale, Milano
This project is commissioned by United color of Benetton for Milan Fashion week along with designers from Fabrica, and exhibited at Triennale design museum.

Bricolage is a multifunctional modular children furniture inspired by childhood mathmatic learning tool. With 3 different supporting elements, children can enjoy their creativity through building their own furnitures.

Shen shen Detoa
With units of singular tree, eventually we can reform a forest. Adopting the origin of Chinese character of tree/ bushes / forest and transform it into a modular educational toy block.
木 , means a tree or wood; when you dublicate it as 林 , it means bushes or smaller scale of forests. With 3 of it as 森 , the character means bigger jungle or forest. The original structure of the character is very simple; so, after applying the re-designed proportion, it's very easy and modularized for children to build their own houses or even use it as mini figure.
Shenshen is a wooden toy project for Czech toy company Detoa, and exhibited in UMPRUM JARO exhibition. It was selected by UMPRUM Academy publication "Sedm let K.O.V.".

Space Scholarship Ap Thailand
Space Scholarship is a co-living space project provided to 7 students who came to study in Bangkok with finance difficulty. Collaborating with Ap Thailand team, we designed 2 flats for selected students in small apartments where it has to be suitable for a year of living experiences between strangers with different religion,background and studies. We put our international co-living/ co-working experiences at Fabrica in design consideration from the space layout, furniture, accessories, we tend to create a space that students can have flexibility and freedom of choosing their sharing and private moments.
This project is a collaboration with Ap Thailand, architecture and construction company based in Thailand. Ap thailand also organized and rebuilt all the furniture and components for exhibition "Space within space, a vision of co-living generation" in Bangkok. A Life: Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Beat Generation, Rebellion, Poetry Brescia museo Santa Giulia
Lawrence Ferlinghetti, a living poet/ painter/ activist, who took important role of Beat generation, and a pusher of freedom of speech in U.S.A. Collaborating with Brescia Museo, researching from the archive of over 300 diverse contents and highlighting important moment of Ferlinghetti's encountering and time backgrounds with identity,experience design, colors arrangement and scenography.
This project is a collaboration with Brescia museo Santa Guilia , and exhibition started at Nuit Blanche 2017 with performances.

La geografia serve a fare la guerra? Fondazione Benetton
Structures for "War map room"
"Is the purpose of geography to make war?", question raised by curator/ geographer Massimo Rossi. With Fondazione Benetton, we cocreated the experiences and exhibition layout of three main theme :Rocks and water, Human signs and War maps. With visual and interactive output, inviting visitor to go through important maps and objects that indicates border that created whether by nature, human factor or warfare; eventually, hoping people to have their own answer about whether geography maps brought peace or war?

Performance of the ritual - 2.Transportation
Many rituals and traditions use plants to absorb bad karma or emotional stress – in this way humans are somewhat selfish. However, these practices also show that we perceive plants to be stronger than us, more capable of transforming bad energy into good. Ritual process (illustration by Ainhoa Garmendia)

Since plants are taking on unwanted energy from us and potentially dying because of this, we feel the need to show our respect and appreciation for the plants by allowing them to go back into the natural garden cycle of death and rebirth in order to live a new life at a higher level of reincarnation.
The theme of the workshop is putting consideration of "taking care" in design thinking, and making series of gardening tool based on concept of each group. At the end of the workshop, we present our project with performance and a zine. 04_Personal insight I’m a passionate person who’s always willing to challenge diverse design practices. With my background in understanding craftsmanship and passion in infusing observation or story into objects, I’m interested in how to give a poetic touch to our everyday products from concept to detail presence.
