Food File Phone App This was created for a competition for the Food File. This was my first attempt at a phone app design and afterwards there are a few things that I would change. The task was to create an app that had a wheel for the main page to turn to select different food categories and the promotions page. Each of the food categories would showcase different local restaurants and their menus. The app would have a phone button so that you would be able to directly call the restaurant to place an order or for reservations.

Exploring Egypt Children's Game This project was an individual class assignment for a UI course. The project was to create a UI design for a picture of a 3D rendered image a classmate picked for us. We were to choose our target users and create an interface that would fit the needs of the game, as well as be fit for the users. For this assignment I received the image for a tomb in Egypt. The game that I decided to create out of this image was a children’s PC game that would allow them to learn and explore Egypt. Egyptian history is vast and rich and a constant mystery. The game is simple and intended for children around the ages of 8-12 (the later part of their primary education). The game gives them assignments in the present year, and as they go out on missions, they can jump back and forth in time with a special dial. This way, they can build up an entire history of the place throughout time. The user can engage with the characters in the story and will have to fulfill the role of the person they are during that time period. The interface is simple with a menu, timeline, map and gold pouch.

Pan's labyrinth computer Game This project was an individual class assignment for a UI course. The project was to create a user interface for a movie of our choice. I chose Pan’s Labryinth because of the beautiful artistry and story line that the movie has. First we had to figure out what the game would entail and what a player would need in order to play the game. I created the game for teens because of the content and graphics. This also meant that the game could have a more intricate structure that ran along with the storyline. I researched the movie and pulled it into pieces that could be interesting to add to the game development. After pulling out pieces of the movie that were important I identified the necessary components that would appear in the interface design. The gamer will need to be able to access the:moon cycle, the items, the faun, the faeries, the map, a life and bonus bar and see the story line.

NYU Stern Club Website mockup This mock up was for a competition for the NYU Stern Private Equity Club. The final product was not picked from the competition but rather designed afterwards in order to modernize and providea higher quality site for all members. The idea was simple and straight forward with simple directions from the NYU Stern Club that were provided. I took their thoughts and adjusted and tweaked it for a different feel.
