Strolling through historic downtown Rosenberg has never been more delicious! The annual chocolate walk has been scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019 and you don’t need a golden ticket to attend the sweetest event of the season! Participating shops throughout downtown will be offering up sweet treats to shoppers and visitors looking to fill up their chocolate passports and be entered in a drawing for exciting prizes. Guests will pick up a “passport” card,

visit stores, and sample candy for a stamp to fill up their card. The chocolate trek will end at the Fort Bend Art Center who is celebrating their first anniversary in our downtown location. Chocolate-lovers will enter their full passports into a drawing at the Art Center for fun prizes while enjoying the celebration and getting inspired by the local artists. The 2019 Chocolate Walk is a celebration of food and art, what more could anyone ask for?

Art-IVERSARY Partnering with Attack Poverty (Friends of North Rosenberg and North Richmond), the Fort Bend Art Center is celebrating their one-year anniversary on Saturday, February 9, 2019. The celebration is from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and the price of admission is simply a box of crayons for donation to local elementary schools. Pick out a glass container and layer horticultural charcoal, gravel, and a balanced, fertilized soil like Miracle-Gro. Choose a very small plant. Once planted, cover the soil with moss, sand, or pebbles. Add decorative elements such as seashells, or an interesting rock. Give your plant a drink of water and secure the lid.
