Participants learn the principles of proper assessment, management, critical interventions, patient packaging and rapid transport. Students will learn and practice proven techniques for communicating with young patients and their parents. The practical skills will enable you to feel confident and competent when caring for a critically injured child.

The wounds you create will be used later on in the day for the Triage and Search and Rescue classes.

Simulated Cadaver Anatomy Lab Steve Murphy —  Limit 45 each session — Bridging the gap between textbooks and real life has never been so much FUN! When it comes to simulating the human anatomy there is nothing better than a pig!! In this Hands-On Workshop students will dissect and explore a variety of structures that are commonly associated with the killing zones: Brain, Heart, Lungs, Liver, Spleen, Kidneys, and Eyes just for FUN!

Bandaging by Bill Bill Webb —
