Schermerhorn Symphony Center a day of free music
my day at the symphony My shoes have taken me to many places. I like to photograph them in all the cool places I visit. On this day, my shoes took me to the symphony!
my schermerhorn visit One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go to the Bicentennial Mall Amphitheater for free music in the park. Regions Bank sponsors free concerts featuring the Nashville Symphony. These Regions Community Concerts provide incredible classical music exposure to Nashville’s growing arts community. This spring, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center was open for an entire day of free music! With my trusty side!kick Doree by my side, I made my first visit to the incredible new addition to our diverse developing downtown. This book contains a photographic journal of my first experience in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Enjoy!

Our diverse downtown.
I think on my next visit I will take my bike just so I can use the cool treble clef bike racks.
Yes, the symphony hall does take your breath away as soon as you enter.
The acoustics are astounding.

I think I took more pictures of the fascinating lights in the lobby than anything else.
Do you think these came from Ikea?

This is what you miss out on when you’re not looking up.
Did I mention that I really liked the lights in the lobby?
There’s not a bad seat in house.

There’s nothing like the sound of a choir in a reverberating lobby.
Nashville in Harmony
I’m just as fascinated by the people watching the performance as those performing.
To do: Learn how to play the upright bass.
To do: Dance like you’re the only one in the room.
