Sustainability is Balance Suburbia Transformed 2.0 Award Winning Entry James Rose Center, Ridgewood NJ
This design was a successful attempt to blend sustainable living with a new esthetic to blur the line between home and habitat. The intention is to create a strong connection between the inhabitants, the land, and the community. Balancing these aspects is a powerful way to make humanity feel connected and invested in the land and discover the need to live more sustanable .

Temporal Landscape Incarnate Beebe Lake, Cornell University
This is an environmental restoration of a dammed river basin. The intention is transformation of the site closer to an esthetic and habitat found in the early 1800s before encroachment of industry. This will improve human interaction with the site by creating a more dynamic and engaging environment. These changes will increase the number of visitors to the site and bring immeasurable research opportunities for students and faculty to research restoration practices. Composite of Sediment Deposits

Historical aerial photographs were used to track sediment deposits on the man made lake to find a pattern which would lead to the formation of a river system. But historical evidence from maps proved much more conclusive.

Student Memorial Garden Cornell Unversity Ithaca, NY
This design will better utilize one of the few beautiful open green spaces of the Cornell campus. The metamorphosis will bring and uplifting and reflective space to remember students who were lost while attending Cornell University. To maintain the beautiful setting, the presence of the memorial has been kept to a minimal size consisting of a central water feature surround by memorial cairns. Names of student will be carved into the water channel for friends and families to visit

Man of Motion Glenn H. Curtis Memorial Park Hamensport, NY
Glenn Curtis used his passion for speed and mechanism to herald many of the innovations in transportation we take for granted today; from bicycles, to motorcycles, lighter than air dirigibles, and some of the earliest and most successful air craft. The intention for this memorial park was use of a representation of circular motion in the installations and in the walkways. This is the form seen when watching a propeller in motion and was the key to all of Glenn’s inventions. No matter if it was the cam shaft of the engines he built, the speeding wheels of the motorcycle he set a world speed record on, or in the propellers he designed for his air craft. This circular motion was the key to the man and his machines.
Designs of awnings to bring the esthetic of the earliest planes to the park.
Along with motion in the plants themselves especially the sumaras, just like the motion of Glenns’s propellers.
