It's an article of new American missionary Father Gerald McMahon, CSC, published in the January 1955 issue of the 'Bengalese' magazine -- a mission magazine of the Congregation of Holy Cross in Washington, D.C., USA.
When he went to work in Baromari mission in the Garo Hills region in East Pakistan (later Bangladesh), Father McMahon was a 'doubting Thomas' about the existence of leopards or tigers in that area. After some weeks, witnessing paw marks, growling, entrapment, and ultimately shooting of a leopard, did he become a converted believer.
