Father Ted Colleton, C.S.Sp., was an Irish Catholic priest and missionary to Kenya for dozens of years. Later he moved and died in Canada. In the book, 'Yes, I'd do it again,' he described his missionary work at various mission stations in Kenya and Canada.
In the chapter, called "Temptation at Riruta Mission," Father Colleton describes how he had faced an unexpected sexual temptation one evening in Riruta and how -- in spite of being lonely, unmarried, and sex-deprived person -- he succeeded in winning over the temptation. In this day and age, when Catholic clergy sex abuse is so pervasive in the world, Father Colleton's story is an example of not giving in to sexual temptation.
