A Bengali-language news commentary of Jerome D'Costa -- published in the 'Pratibeshi' weekly of October 24, 1982 -- is on yellow journalism of some Islamic fundamentalist publications in Bangladesh. Resorting to yellow journalism these publications have been publishing sensational headlines blaming wholesale Christian missionaries and Christian voluntary agencies (NGOs) for converting poor Muslims and turning Bangladesh into a "Second Lebanon," and for being a challenge to Islam! This commentator says that country's laws should be used if any particular person or organization in unlawful activities rather than resorting to yellow journalism without any basis.
