Jeroni Mach Raubert
I was born in Barcelona at the beginning of this digitized century and since I was a child I have been fascinated by the plastic arts, all my notebooks are full of drawings in the margins. At the age of eight I got my first camera, a submersible camera. I went on practicing doing projects with friends relating fashion and photography (two of my great hobbies), the most beautiful and interesting being the one I did with my friend Marwan Sarsri, ”Cliént Studios”, which did not progress due to lack of capital to produce new garments. The same fondness for photography led me to work for the Sutton Group at night parties in Barcelona where I was the photographer until the pandemic hit. After doing the technological baccalaureate, I decided to study Landscape Architecture at the UPC, to develop my creativity in another space. During this two years I have been improving my graphic material and the Workshop with the students of Tsinghua University has also been very important to me, since I have realized all the scope that my future profession has.

X INTERNATIONAL
In January 2021, I attended a joint workshop between UPC and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
In this, we were asked to propose a city prepared for possible pandemics, and our area of action was a square block in the Eixample of Barcelona. My group consisted of: Chen Buke, Song Yang, Wang Zhengyan, Huang Jingya, Lin Songxu (master’s students) and myself.
We thought of a modular design that we called ”LEGO CITY” and that consisted of a structure of interchangeable cubes according to confinement or other measures. It was a very interesting experience because we were able to share different ways of working and thinking.
The render was done by Huang Jingya.

Kind Regrets, 2012, by Piet Parra
From the location given by the Project Workshop II subject, I made an axonometric view of the Plaça dels Països Catalans in Autocad.
Afterwards, I thought of an artistic reference and brought it to Illustrator. I was inspired by Martin Parr’s editorial photos for Toilet Paper magazine and an illustration by Dutch artist Piet Parra.

LLANGOLLEN’S MASTERPLAN
I did this masterplan for a workshop organized by the Urban Design Lab, a largescale plan visualization platform. They explained us how to improve the workflow in images like this one.
In this case, the site to be mapped was the town of Llangollen in Wales and we had to trace the path from one side of the river to the other.

QGIS (+ Blender in the last view)
The exercise was to represent an area of Spain using the QGIS geoinformation software.
I chose the Cabrera archipelago because I thought the fact that it was surrounded by the sea would be interesting.
The first map gradually represents the slopes of the archipelago, and the second I wanted to use the Blender GIS tool to import the map into the 3D software and play with an interesting composition for the view they asked us for.

EXTERIOR FOR
HOUSE IN MEXICO’S DESERT
This is a personal exercise in which I wanted to create an arid outdoor space with Blender. I ended up making this clay house, with a pool, a Porsche (which I didn’t model myself) and typical oasis vegetation in Mexico.
The image on the left represents the file before it is rendered, and the image on the right is the image already rendered with a color correction on Adobe Photoshop.

For the biennial competition of the garden festival of Radicepura (Sicily), Albert Vich and I presented a proposal called: Tornato a casa, where we wanted to show a new relationship between nature and man through a gradient between what is built and the spontaneous.
The first image is a plan of the project, the second an aerial perspective of the final part of the garden and the last image is also a perspective of the same area, this time, however, from the view of the visitor.

(+) espais de camins (path spaces) wants to bring nature closer to the elderly and children of the Montbau neighborhood.
Because of the neighborhood’s steep slopes, residents have asked for measures to improve accessibility. Based on this request,
a sequence of viewpoints is created with treatment of use and gradual furniture. For children and young people, an extension of the urban garden is created by creating a telecommunications hall with attractive furniture for the age group.
