The Matriarch of Our Family

I had you to myself two years before Lisa was born. Now you both are gone. My Mom, my heart, what am I to do now? There is a hole in my heart that can never be filled. The pain is so deep I don’t know how to heal. You were calm to my storm. You always said to have Faith, Pray and be patient. We sat, talked, and watched our favorite shows Love It or List It, Food Network, Lifetime Movies, all the Housewives, especially Atlanta, and of course, Kenya Moore, who you couldn’t stand. I called so many times to check on you morning, noon, and night to ask what you had for breakfast and how you sleep and to wish and to wish you a good night. Listen and laugh at you, Mrs. Lois and Mrs. Elaine, talking about old times. You missed Dad, Ivory, and best friend, Mrs. Patricia. I could see the loneliness in your eyes with silent moments. God called home the perfect Angel. A woman who touched so many lives and gave no matter what. She took care of all her brothers as her Mom told her to. I hate I couldn’t say goodbye, but I wouldn’t have let you go. But God knows best and took care of all the rest. Now, several Angels are watching over me, saying you got this; breathe and keep pushing through. You’re up in Heaven, no more pain, no more stress, no more worries, and finally, peace. There with Dad, Lisa Ivory, your mother and father, and other loved ones. Your firstborn will be strong, as you always know; I can hear your last words; you’re so Beautiful. I will Love You Forever and always gone but never be forgotten. My Mom ~Love

My GrandMa

My grandma has been in my life since I was a child. I’ve seen countless my brother in her arms. I remember every summer, traveling to I would sit in her lap while she laughed and told us funny stories make us understand our culture and beliefs. I remember her walking helping her wash potatoes. It was really a wonderful time. I remember with homemade spaghetti and banana pudding when we flew in from the hospital; she was as optimistic as ever, laughing and watching brighten the whole room. I will remember everything about Love Alexandria

My Beloved Mother

There is never a good time to say goodbye to a loved one, as we can never have enough of them. I have loved and enjoyed you as a mother. You opened your heart and warmly embraced me as a daughter. While we may not see you physically anymore, you will always be in my heart and thoughts, and in a special place no one else can fill. I will miss the personalized birthday song you would call to sing on my birthday every year. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother-in-law. Farewell blessed one, and rest peacefully in the Lord!

Love, George & Grace
