Life’s Reflections
Stephen Deshaun Langston was born on May 24, 1995 to Angela Walls and Stephen Langston.
Shaun accepted Christ and was baptized by pastor Frederick Tappan at Eureka True Vine Baptist Church. He departed his life on Tuesday October 8, 2024. He attended Olive Branch High school and was a member of the football team. While he attended Olive Branch he made many lifelong friends. He then went on to begin his own journey purchasing his own home at the age of 21. He was employed at FedEx Ground for many years and then went on to work various jobs around the city of Memphis most recently Lyft.
During his childhood, he took an obsession to the GMC Hummer. The late great Willie Evelyn Woods researched the Hummer and made him a book detailing what Hummer capabilities were. During his life he owned a black Hummer 3, rust and black Hummer 2. He also had several hobbies like traveling with his brother, buying and reselling vehicles and watching Lebron James Lakers.
Shaun will always be forever cherished by: his mother Angela Walls Becton, father Stephen Earl Langston, step father Jeffery Becton, brother Jaylen Becton, step brothers Jeffery Becton II and Jonathan Rooks, grandmothers Nelsie Walls and Linda Langston, and 2 deceased grandfathers Eddie Walls and York Martin, the late great grandmother Willie Evelyn Woods, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalms 23

Letter from Mom,
My first love my oldest son. I love you more than words can express. But you had a vision and on several different occasions tried to warn me of what was to come. I truly believe you were trying to prepare me for this. And I thank you. My heart is broken into a million pieces and I asked God why me why my son but God saw you were getting weary so he did what he thought was best.
Letter from Dad and Stepdad

Dear Shaun, KingLangston, CoupedupLangston, iceuplangston, swagboy13, rockstarlangston, It’s your lil brother here Jaylen. I miss you Shaun. I will always cherish all the annual birthday trips we went on. You chose me to go on all those trips with you. We had some of the best times. I thank you for always challenging me in basketball and football saying that’s not good enough. You was the one said I was going end up playing football. As I was going thru the photo album we had some many pictures together. We would always call each other KeyGlock and Young dolph or Kane and Undertaker. Shaun I wish some things were different but I guess this how God wanted it. This last time I saw you was when we met up at Dave Busters to watch a boxing match. I know you always wanted my height and size but I want you to know you will always will be Jaylen big brother.
Love Jaylen
