It was excellent to have ABS Australia’s Bill Morgan at the presentations today, as he travelled from Tatura to present the ABS Global - Australia prizes (thank you Melinda for posting these). We also kindly thank Central Sires Co-op for there generous donations 3 x $50 semen vouchers (thanks to Donald Ross for posting these). We also kindly thank Paul Zimmermann from Compass Farm Feeds for his generous contribution. We also kindly thank Laucke Mills Stockfeeds for 3 x Laucke calf starter bag vouchers (thanks to Steve Fairey for posting these) The Heifer Competition would not be the same without the wonderful support of Sue Thorn and Peter Whitford - whose donations do not go unnoticed each year.
It was wonderful to hear Gino Pacitti give his commentary at each farm today 4th March 2020, and we thank Gino, along with Mandy Pacitti for taking two days out of their busy schedule to support our event, and ensure the 2020 Heifer Competition was a great success. Gino gave James Krieg an Encouragement Award, and a Jersey Australia Polo Shirt. Thanks to Glen Barrett at Jersey Australia for your ongoing support.

Club News… In late February SGJBC held their general meeting at Matt and Nicola Templetons farm. We were able to see the 2020 IDW Supreme Champion Holstein and of course a selection of their best Jerseys.
