Giving glory, honor, and adoration to the MASTER and GREATEST THINKER of all thinkers, named Lord Jesus Christ (346,750 unread) - jes3122001@yahoo.com - Yahoo Mail
"Ask, it shall be given. Seek, ye shall find. Knock, it shall be opened..... You received not, because you asked not." A very strong and inspirational Parables from the Good Book Scriptures, by the Greatest Author and Finisher of our faith Himself, My KING and My Everlasting SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. PRAISE HIM IN THE HIGHEST! I'm giving this glory, honor, and adoration to MASTER and GREATEST THINKER OF all Thinkers, named Lord Jesus Christ; mainly because I had wonderful time yesterday Sunday March 28, 2021, for almost 4 hours in Chicago, with my good friend, my Mentor, member of the CAC (CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH) Worldwide, A Liaison Protocol Officer between USA and Nigerian Business & Politics, and so on, named Dr. Collins Awosika. He just lost his dearly beloved Mother, late Madam CLARA AWOSIKA, who passed away at the age of 104 years in Chicago; and the body was carried to her homeland, Ondo State, Nigeria. I cannot over emphasize enough, on the glorious and well deserved funeral ceremonies accorded to her, both in Chicago, and at home, NIGERIA. We celebrated big Thanksgiving Offerings at the Grace Abundance Church located on Albany and School Street, Chicago's near north west side (headed by Senior Pastor Pa FAROMBI). It was Anointed Church Service. I could not resist but dancing to the great Choir beautiful selections on Palm Sunday March 28, 2021. Praise The Lord! After all if she (Mama CLARA, as popularly addressed by her grand, and great-grandchildren) had stayed for another 16 years on the face of this planet earth, she probably would have fulfilled God's original plans for His living Creatures called "Human Being" (Ref. Genesis 6:3). But Sins short- changed us! Anyway I had a long, deep down to heart, and sensible thoughts about why should I follow my humble heart, and write about the Man named Asiwaju BOLA Ahmed Tinubu, knowing more stones might be casted against my enemies in JESUS'MIGHTY NAME. (Amen). But like many of my Media Colleagues both in Nigeria, London, Houston, and elsewhere, I have to follow my instincts. Fortunately it pays off. Someone was kind enough to send me lots of positive accolades on behalf of this man named Tinubu A visionary, Great Thinker both on a domestic, national, and foreign levels - A Federalist (you might arguably concurred); A Successful Businessman, Nation Builder, An outstanding Kings' Maker/Politician-who has been successfully groomed many great Lagos State Governors, and Politicians-alike, and empowered them to be the best they can be in their own rights except the few that fell by the way side. And a lot more. Much more! Lest I forget, like many great writers upon whose shoulders I take refuge, CHINUA Achebe, Professor WOLE Shoyinka, Fafunwa, British James Hedley-Chase's book titled, "Vulture Is A Patient Bird"; and the likes. One of the most beautiful things about a writer, is the fact, once you diagnosed your topic, and you're very passionate about it, albeit you might be sluggish in the beginning, but sky is the limit once you started until the finishing line; almost like Marathoners (i.e Coming up on Sunday October 10, 2021 to Chicago); Oops, sorry, I digressed. On a serious note, this is just a little juice about what you're going to read in the upcoming edition of the AFRICA-USA Today Magazine International (APRIL 2021 Edition, LORD willing). Amen. President Biden’s Infrastructure Plan (349,140 unread) - jes3122001@yahoo.com - Yahoo Mail
From: blackamericaweb.com
This week, President Joe Biden revealed his extensive infrastructure plan that aims to reshape the U.S. economy. The $2.3 trillion package invests in everything from repairing aging roads and bridges to transit projects to rebuilding schools and hospitals. The plan would also put more electric vehicles on roads and overhaul the nation’s water systems. Fixing America’s fragile infrastructure system is one goal of the administration’s plan, but it goes further by focusing on boosting the workforce through the creation of jobs. The plan, called the American Jobs Plan, is broken into four key areas. 1. Quality of life at home About $650 billion would invest in homes, school buildings, underground water infrastructure and broadband expansion. The government would spend $213 billion to build, preserve and retrofit more than two million affordable homes and commercial buildings, including the construction or rehabilitation of 500,000 homes for low- and middle-income Americans. About $111 billion would go toward clean drinking water, including the replacement of all lead pipes and service lines. To construct or modernize public schools, the plan will spend $100 billion, while another $100 billion would be used to build high-speed broadband networks, making the internet available for all Americans. 2. Transportation The plan would invest $621 billion in the country’s roads, railways and bridges while focusing on clean energy. About 20%, or $174 billion would be allocated to electric vehicles in bus fleets, electric vehicle stations and provide incentives and rebates for electric cars. About $115 billion would pay for repairing roads and “economically significant” bridges nationwide. 3. Caregivers for elderly and people with disabilities About $400 billion would go to improve access to quality, affordable home or community-based care for the elderly and people with disabilities. It would also increase pay for care workers, who are disproportionately women of color. 4. Research, development and manufacturing About $300 billion in the plan would be invested in manufacturing, including new research and development with an emphasis on clean energy, reducing emissions and climate change research. To pay for the plan, Biden wants to raise the corporate tax rate to 28%, returning to the percentage corporations paid before President Trump's tax cuts in 2017. Biden will also incentivize job creation and investment in the U.S. and end profit-shifting to tax havens. The White House projects the plan will be paid in full in 15 years and reduce deficits in the following years. Republicans have voiced opposition to the plan over its large price tag while some economic experts accuse the administration of mixing other types of policies that are not traditionally in an infrastructure bill. Five tips for securing Covid-19 vaccine appointments Five tips for securing Covid-19 vaccine appointments By James C. Appleby In the United States, more than eight in 10 Covid-19 deaths have occurred among those of us aged 65 or above. This sobering statistic sheds light on just how devastating this pandemic has been for older Americans, and far too many have lost loved ones to this disease. Thankfully, a post-Covid-19 world is coming into view in the distance. Americans now have access to three safe and extremely effective vaccines, and reports show that cases are declining among nursing home staff and residents. The arrival of these medical breakthroughs -- which are available for free -- could very well spell the difference between life and death for many, which is precisely why the CDC recommends that states prioritize older Americans in their vaccine distribution plans. Most states have heeded this advice and placed seniors at the front of the line. Unfortunately, though, many older Americans have reported difficulty accessing vaccines. Online scheduling systems are often difficult to navigate, making them inaccessible to the 22 million seniors who lack in-home internet. Many

WASHINGTON - The Small Business Administration is trying to take a more deliberate and targeted approach to distributing another $284 billion in subsidized Paycheck Protection Program small business loans compared to past iterations of the program, of cials said in a call with reporters Friday. The SBA is also reacting to criticism that larger, well-banked borrowers had a leg up against their less-established peers when the rst loans rolled out in April. The new rules are intended to “ensure this round of funding goes to those who need it most,” a senior administration of cial said in a call with reporters Friday. The Treasury Department asked reporters not to identify the of cials as a condition for participating in the call. The new loans should provide much-needed relief to a still-struggling business community; they come as the U.S. economy shed 140,000 jobs in recent months as the coronavirus pandemic reached its worst point yet. Congress recently authorized another $284 billion for PPP, bringing the program’s total funding value to $806 billion. “This updated guidance enhances the PPP’s targeted relief to small businesses most impacted by COVID-19,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a news release. “We are committed to implementing this round of PPP quickly to continue supporting American small businesses and their workers.” SBA administrator Jovita Carranza said in the same news release that the new rules “build on the success of the [PPP] program and adapt to the changing needs of small business owners by providing targeted relief and a simpler forgiveness process to ensure their path to recovery.” The rules include a number of restrictions passed down from Congress and some others devised by the SBA and Treasury Department. So-called community nancial institutions tasked with serving low-income, minority-owned and other disadvantaged businesses will get a rst crack at the funds Monday, with larger banks shut out until an undetermined later date. AFRICA USA TODAY 23 A new size standard and means testing will block many of the larger, wealthier businesses that received help last year. And a new automated review system will now kick in before borrowers can access their funds.

Trump’s Final Blow to Patients with HIV
Trump's final blow to patients with HIV By Guy Anthony The day before Donald Trump left the White House, his administration dealt one final, brutal blow to some of America's most vulnerable patients. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced a policy that, if implemented, will put numerous lifesaving drugs off-limits to Medicare recipients. Medicare provides health insurance to 63 million seniors and people with disabilities. Trump's gut punch affects Part D, the section of Medicare that covers most prescription drugs. Hi Honorable Mr. John E. Smith, Jr; Editor-in-Chief, Sir I love this book for the upcoming March/April 2021, because of its poetry style of getting the message across to the readers. I recommend it for coverage in the upcoming edition; in addition to ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU on the cover, and many economic progress in Lagos State, NIGERIA despite the protests, tribal, religion extremism, and economic disputes among the governments and the Citizens. It's all about the Adam Smith's 1776 writing of "WEALTH OF NATION". If the wealth is not circulated to the masses, but to few riches. The consequences are usually chaotic. Why? Because the Poor is hungry, and the Rich is sleepless because the poor is hungry. The solution usually (is to have a common sense dialogue, and come to amicable resolutions, particularly for the interest of our youths' future. They owned the future. War only brings regrets after math. The Civility and Wisdom bring light into the darkness. Choose light! (Emphasis mine, Olawale Idreez). Why do you think the supposedly great Men/Women that fought civil war (NIGERIA/BIAFRA Civil War July 1967 January 15, 1970) wrote after the chaotic battles that left millions of lives recklessly wasted: "Nigeria Cannot Sustain Another Civil War" by late Chief Odumegwu OJUKWU? That was the main Man that led the BIAFRA battle, at the point of his death. More so, many living legends (like Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, General IBRAHIM G. BABANGIDA, ETC) that faced that civil war now using their wisdom and experience in that horrific deaths of good people of that nation on both ends, passionately discouraging citizens from engaging in another civil war, that currently being aggravated and promoted by ill-will, extremists, egoistical, carelessness, and not learning from the past mistakes of people like them: using religion and land opportunity claimants to justify unnecessary propaganda. The end result, which we all know too well, (God forbids another civil war in Nigeria) will be a replica of the January 15, 1970 proclaimed by General Yakubu Gowon, "NO VICTOR, NO VICTIMS!" I'm writing this missive with passion, because the saddest part of this whole shenanigan (foolishness) is the fact that, the former Colonialists, and Children of former Colonialists are sitting in London, Scotland, or even China (The Economic Beneficiaries- Eating Egg-Foo Yang delicious meals, with Ginseng Tea; I love that food, too), sipping Scottish Schnapps AFRICA USA TODAY 29 on the iced rocks, and Champaign drinks, betting on the fact that "Black People Cannot Rule Themselves: How Much Do You Want To Bet?" They are laughing and giggling over our sorrow, and winning their bet on the same "DIVIDE & CONQUER" ill-will devices.

THE RISE OF ISLAMOFACISM What is Islamofacism? Islamofacism is radical Islam combined with undemocratic institutions in such a fashion that it creates a threat to the neighborhood, and in concentric circle fashion. A threat to the extent to which Iran develops a missile envelope that goes outward, and all of a sudden it begins to encapsulate the American, European allies in the Middle-East and eventually sets its aims on the United States itself. This definition comes from professor Raymon Tanter – Dr Irwin Cotler – sums it up and says: we have phenomenon we are witnessing now that is the emergence of a kind of transnational, global, totalitarian, political Islam – and again I want to make it clear that I am not in any way, being critical of Islam as a religion – on the contrary, I think this is a usurpation and high-jacking of Islam… whereby one seeks a form of world domination. That is why the phrase “Islamofacism” has been used to characterize the totalitarian and political character of this transnational, and political character of this transnational, radical Islam, which is operating now in the mosques, in the media, in the schools and training camps. Says the former Canadian MP – former minister and attorney general of Canada. This piece of writing is an attempt to make President Joe Biden and his administration to look back in history and avoid the kind of decisions and mistakes made by his predecessors especially former Pres. Jimmy Canter; because it was more or les Pres. James Earl Carter’s neglect of the most formidable and reliable U S ally in the Middle-East through neglect and the bad decision by former Iran’s prime minister Shapour Bakhtiar to have allowed the Shah’s nemesis, Ayatolah Ruhollah Khomeini, to return to Iran. On March 30 and 31 1979, a popular vote nationwide endorsed the establishment of an Islamic Republic. With the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Khomeini became Supreme Leader (Vali-e faqeeh). On April 1, 1979, the greatest April Fools’ joke of all time was played on the people of Iran: Ayatollah Khomeini proclaimed the first day of God’s Government and established himself as the Grand Ayatollah. He awarded himself the tittle “Imam” (The highest religious tittle rank in Shia). The events following the proclamation have had a lasting effect not only on Iran, but on the entire Middle-East and the rest of the world. These are lessons from history and the new administration is being reminded of, that Khomeini could not have defeated the Shah of Iran on issues that interested the Mullahs alone. Either the Iranian or US armed forces could easily have taken out the rebel forces but Jimmy Carter knew little of the effective use of military power – regardless of the fact that he had no will to use it – and viewed Khomeini as more of a religious holy man in a grassroots revolution than a founding father of modern ‘terrorism’ Thus the United States failed to act on behalf of its long time ally,

Moremi Ajasoro Moremi Ajasoro (Yoruba: Mọ́remí Àjàsorò) was a legendary Yoruba queen and folk heroine in the Yorubaland region of present-day southwestern Nigeria who is fabled to have assisted in the liberation of the Yoruba kingdom of Ife from the neighbouring Ugbo Kingdom.[1] Moremi was married to Oranmiyan, the son of Oduduwa, the first king of Ife.[2][3][4]
Biography The Ayaba Moremi lived in the 12th century,[5][3] hailed from Offa,[6] and was married to Oranmiyan, the heir to the king of Ife and founding father of the Yoruba people, Oduduwa.[7][8] Ile-Ife was a kingdom that was said to have been at war with an adjoining tribe who were known to them as the Forest people. (Ugbò in the Yoruba language, though the said tribe is believed by scholars to have had no relation to the contemporary Ugbòs of modern Nigeria). Scores of Ife Statue of Moremi Ajasoro in Ife, citizens were being enslaved by these people, and because of this they Osun State, Nigeria were generally regarded with disdain by the Yoruba city-states. Although the people of Ile-Ife were furious about these raids, they did not have the means to defend themselves. This is because the invaders were seen as spirits by the people of Ife, appearing as masquerades completely covered in raffia leaves. Moremi was a very brave and beautiful woman who, in order to deal with the problem facing her people, pledged a great sacrifice to the Spirit of the river Esimirin so that she could discover the strength of her nation's enemies.[9] She is said to have been taken as a slave by the Ugbo and, due to her beauty and Esimirin's help, married their ruler as his anointed queen. After familiarizing herself with the secrets of her new husband's army, she escaped to Ile-Ife and revealed this to the Yorubas, who were then able to subsequently defeat them in battle.[10] Following the war she returned to her first husband, King Oramiyan of Ife (and later Oyo), who immediately had her re-instated as his queen. Moremi returned to the Esimirin River to fulfill her pledge. The river demanded she sacrificed her only son, Oluorogbo. The demand was inconceivable and Moremi pleaded with the god for a less terrible offering. But in the end, she kept her promise and paid the price. The offering of Oluorogbo to the river god grieved not only Moremi but the whole kingdom of Ife. The Yoruba people consoled Moremi by offering to be her eternal children—-a promise kept until today.
Legacy The Edi Festival was started to celebrate the sacrifice Moremi made for the Yoruba people. Various public places are named after her in the contemporary Yorubaland region of Nigeria, such as Moremi High School and the female residence halls at the University of Lagos and Obafemi Awolowo University.

A searing, postapocalyptic novel destined to become Cormac McCarthy’s masterpiece. A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind. It is cold enough to crack stones, and when the snow falls it is gray. The sky is dark. Their destination is the coast, although they don’t know what, if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing; just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a cart of scavenged food—and each other. The Road is the profoundly moving story of a journey. It boldly imagines a future in which no hope remains, but in which the father and his son, “each the other’s world entire,” are sustained by love. Awesome in the totality of its vision, it is an unflinching meditation on the worst and the best that we are capable of: ultimate destructiveness, desperate tenacity, and the tenderness that keeps two people alive in the face of total devastation. Cormac McCarthy is an American novelist and playwright. He has written ten novels in the Southern Gothic, western, and post-apocalyptic genres and has also written plays and screenplays. He received the Pulitzer Prize in 2007 for The Road, and his 2005 novel No Country for Old Men was adapted as a 2007 film of the same name, which won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture. His earlier Blood Meridian (1985) was among Time Magazine's poll of 100 best English-language books published between 1925 and 2005 and he placed joint runner-up for a similar title in a poll taken in 2006 by The New York Times of the best American fiction published in the last 25 years. Literary critic Harold Bloom named him as one of the four major American novelists of his time, along with Thomas Pynchon, Don DeLillo, and Philip Roth. He is frequently compared by modern reviewers to William Faulkner. In 2009, Cormac McCarthy won the PEN/Saul Bellow Award, a lifetime achievement award given by the PEN American Center.
