PALINURIDAE 3D PRINTING PARAMETRIC BENCH
June . 2017 By applying human factors and ergonomics, we formed the exoskeleton only based on users' usage patterns. To reduce the weight of the bench, we constructed the internal support derived from the cell structure, and completed the entire design with the self-designed large 3D printer. The specially designed nozzle enlarges the texture effect, so that the printed pattern is no longer a processing defect, but artistic characteristics during manufacturing.

LARGE SIZE 3D PRINTER
CONCEPT
Because of the 3D printers’ speed is too slow and the operation space is not big enough to print, we built the large size 3D printer with the large size extrder for printing big object .And the large size extrder may enhance the printed pattern, we hope we can turn that into a design characteristics.
ORGANISM The design of the bench is using the most important element of 3D printer - addition design for creat the sense of oranism. The main shape is exaggerated organicform, outside the shell is exoskeleton, and inside filled with parametric cell stucture, So the chair can use the least material to maintain sufficient strength.
04
industrial design
FEATURE The bench is 170 cm long, suitable for three peoplr sitting on it, set for the Museum and other indoor space. Full white shape with exaggerated organic form can grab people’s attention while visiting exhibition.

MAKE 3D PRINTER In addition to the machine itself, we also have a lot of effort in designing extruder, it can use the plastic particles as a printing material, it allow the cost of printing asubstantially decline, The choice of material type is also more diverse, and the most important thing is Any part can be broken back to the raw material to do a full re-use.

SPIDERBOT 3D PRINTING QUADRUPED ROBOT
March . 2015 This project is designed for making a easily maked quadruped robot, with realistic stepping motion, using 3D printing technology and the ARDUINO control board, that people can make their own robot easily, So that can experience the fun as a maker, make their own quadruped robot.

CONCEPT QUADRUPED About the appearance of the design in order to create a sense of technology, hope to achieve concise. As each foot has placed three servo motors, So the robot has a lot of exposed wires In order to make the appearance cleaner I ran the wire inside the robot's foot So that he can barely see the appearance of the exposed wire.

SEELE Neon Genesis Vehicle
May . 2015 In the near future, technology grows with leaps and bounds, and internet apps and features on your mobile and personal mobile devices can let people communicate without contact, though convenient, but in such a virtual interaction, people between each others will bw more and more alienated. So we hope using the concept “ pet in to the vehicle, built the car not only for transportation but also can be a partner.

BACKGROUND 25

PSYCHOLOGICAL The interaction between people and vehicles as the core structure, analyze the problem of loneliness to understand how people are connecting with driving, from physiological effects linked to psychological factors, eventually from the psychological level to the car body design.
SKETCH After establishing the core and structure of the design, by collecting the information and the elements, start drawing a large number of sketches to find the ideal shape.
26
industrial design
CONCEPT ORGANISM After reference to human engineering and cognitive psychology, we decided using organism as the image, with a deformation mechanism, to create a feeling for the driver to drive, as in the interaction and communication with the living creature. In order to achieve organism, by using elastic fiber material, color image changes and deformation mechanism, So that when driving a car is like communicat with a creature.
27
industrial design
DEFORMATION The grip and the foot pedal will come out after the car starts, will be able to do a adjustment while different driving speed, The tail of the charging port will also open when charging. When not started, the car is whole white like a statue or art, parking at home does not be too abrupt.

TABLET T5 TRANSFORMER BOOK
August . 2014 After the tablet starts popular, people began to think about how to maintain the mobility of the tablet but also has the power of the laptop. With this concept, we hope to design a new transformer book with a variety of different mode, for variety scenarios, that users in any situation can be used smoothly.

CONCEPT 39
industrial design
SKETCH The concept is set the laptop for office workers that can be use in various situations. To sketch a variety of design with a variety of situations, finally choose one, with the stand behind, to creat multipale modes ‘s transformer book. .
This transformer book has the detachable design, with a stylus.

FEATURE Modeling design considerations for business people to use simple style, with black as the main color and a thin appearance, 11-inches screen designed to carry without the burden, and rear bracket using the clock as the concept of modeling with two trough design, hope every adjustment can give users a new experience. 41
industrial design
STAND Due to the touching screen as the most commonly used, and touch the scream may cause shaking, So the design of the rear adjustable bracket is the most important part of design, to switch different mode for variety of usage scenarios. 43
industrial design
LAPTOP & TABLET The laptop mode is the state in which the tablet is placed in the middle groove, it has a complete keyboard can easily complete the paperwork, compared with the general laptop also have smaller size of base can save desktop space.
Pick up the tablet is a tablet mode, it can immediately switch the system to do the general tablet use.
44

TARGET The use of lighting on the situation is divided into three one is low angle for reading, one is the indirect lighting for resting , and also has a high-angle for dining situation. I hope to design a chandelier, can quickly switch the above three cases.
SKETCH In order to be able to quickly switch different mode to fit the various use of the scenario, changing the angle of lightning is the solution, so drawing sketching with this concept to find the best fit.

CONCEPT 51
industrial design
FEATURES Take the submarine as the core of the design, named as Pathfinderclass, transparent shell, large eye, and also has the upper arm that can grip the wire to adjust the angle, like in the exploration can be quickly adjusted to light up every corner of the room.
52
industrial design
USE The angle can be quickly adjusted by adjusting the wire position, by placeing the wires between two teeth in the upper arm, let the light against the wires, to achieve a new angle of balance. And there are three angles can be choose.
53
industrial design
MODE - Three angles include three usage mode. - High angle against the walls to create a softer indirect for relaxing . - Middle angle can be used to provide the direct lighting for reading. - Low angle used to illuminated dining table for dining .

This gardening scissors are used as a balcony or top floor of the city, the user is office worker or a housewife and the target plants are smaller crops such as vegetables. Under such a setting, the gardening scissors’ appearance should be simplicity, in order to cut smaller crops easily, the design need focus on light, flexible and save effort.
SKETCH In order to achieve simple modeling and create a sense of technology. So using tai chi as the image of the shape, hoping the strong contrast black and white with the soft curve to make the best interpretation.
