SENIOR THESIS - MIXED USE
DESIGN PROBLEM AS THE APPROACHING GENERATION Z POPULATION IS MOVING CLOSER TO THE WORK FORCE CERTAIN STEPS MUST BE MADE TO ADAPT TO A NEW " WORK/LIFE" BALANCE. WITH THIS MULTI-PURPOSE SPACE, THE INCOMING GENERATION WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO STAY, WORK AND SOCIALIZE ALL WITHIN ONE COMMUNAL SPACE.
DESIGN CONCEPT METAMORPHOSIS IS MEANT TO RESEMBLE THE ONGOING TRANSFORMATION THE BUILDING IS MAKING, NOT ONLY HORIZONTALLY BUT VERTICALLY. AND HOW SOMETHING WITH GOOD BONES CAN BE TRANSFORMED TO MEET MODERN DAY NECESSITIES AND ACCOMMODATIONS.
DESIGN SOLUTION CREATE A SPACE THAT AS IT GROWS, BECOMES MORE INDIVIDUALIZED AS PEOPLE STAY, WORK, AND SOCIALIZE WHILE IMPLEMENTING TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS YET STILL PROMOTE FACE TO FACE CONTACT.

CORPORATE OFFICE DESIGN
DESIGN PROBLEM CREATE A CORPORATE OFFICE SPACE FOR AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED COMPANY SEEKING A NEW WORK ENVIRONMENT THAT EMBRACES A MULTI-GENERATIONAL WORKPLACE. THE SPACE SHOULD ACCOMMODATE FLEXIBLE PROGRAMMING ELEMENTS AND REFLECT THE COMPANIES BRANDING, MISSION STATEMENTS, AND ORGANIZATION
DESIGN CONCEPT IMPLEMENTING DIFFERENT CULTURES ALLOWS CLIENTS TO INTERACT WITH THE BRAND IN THEIR OWN WAY. NO MATTER WHERE YOU COME FROM, OR WHAT YOU BELIEVE THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE FOUND AT ANTHROPOLOGIE.
DESIGN SOLUTION DESIGNING FOR ANTHOPOLOGIE TOOK AN ECLECTIC APPROACH TO DESIGN. WITH SUCH STRICT BRANDING STANDARDS WITH WHO THEY ARE, AND WHAT THE COMPANY STANDS FOR CAME TOGETHER THROUGH THE "PORTAL OF DISCOVERY" INSPIRATION.
“Our customer is a creative-minded woman, who wants to look like herself, not the masses. She has a sense of adventure about what she wears, and although fashion is important to her, she is too busy enjoying life to be governed by the latest trends. To her, Anthropologie is a portal of discovery- a brush with what could be. A place for her to lose and find herself" - Richard Haynes, Founder
