A single mother of two and a member of the deaf community, her entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by both personal and professional challenges, making her achievements even more remarkable. Originally from South Korea, Jessica emigrated to the U.S. with a strong desire to forge a better future for herself and her family. As the first person in her family to become a small business owner, she broke new ground and became an example of how hard work and determination can lead to success. Jessica’s story is one of defying the odds—balancing motherhood, navigating life as a deaf entrepreneur, and creating a space for others to thrive. Throughout her career, Jessica has remained committed to inclusivity and social responsibility. She has a deep passion for hiring individuals from underrepresented communities, particularly those from the LGBTQ+ community and people who are seeking second chances. She believes that by providing opportunities to marginalized individuals, she is helping to create a more equitable society where everyone can succeed. Jessica’s educational background reflects her commitment to excellence. Before pursuing an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, she studied Biochemistry, Business Law, and Accounting at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) and DePaul University. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Jessica has used her financial expertise to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship, ensuring her businesses are both profitable and socially responsible.
