S. Nadella Chief Executive Officer Microsoft Corporation 6750 N Andrews Ave #400 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 Dear Mr. Nadella, With the understanding that a company such as Microsoft takes sophistication and the drive to provide bigger and better services for the public. It would come with much responsibility, and not only social, but technological skills that would be utterly important to apply for an employment at such a corporation. As only the sports editor of my middle school yearbook, I may seem to have overlooked the requirements for a job such as software engineer in services. In a way you would be right, but behind all that I possess certain qualities gained from a position such as sports editor that people without experience in such a position wouldn’t achieve. Qualities gained from Sports editor would enhance my performance in employment at Microsoft in many ways. In one way the experience in researching what consumers would want to see in a yearbook, would help in researching what many consumers would want improved or changed in systems or consoles that play digital media for entertainment of the public. For example I would take surveys and poles to collect data on positives and negatives on software or systems. Being the head editor of a department takes reliability, collaboration, communication, and leadership which in turn will effectively improve the performance in a highly important job such as software engineer. Now I’m not asking you to hire me, I’m asking you to give someone such as me a chance to prove that with my skills I can provide what it is needed to excel this company higher and higher. Thank you for your time and I hope you will consider my application. For more information on my experience in this field, I have attached a resume to display them. Respectfully yours, Justin Edwardo Enclosed: resume

Self-analytical Evaluation
I took journalism I in sixth grade, learning evrything from how to write a lead to photo composition. This year I have learned that being an editor for a section is alot of work and responsibility, mainly taking responsibility for who and when is staying after school for a sports game. This year productively I have increased in working abilities. deadlines mostly were met, and as of working as a team I improved in attitude toward others. This course was highly vauable considering that my abilities in writing has gradually been better. I can use these skills when the writing skills come in handy in college .

My most significant piece was the Boy’s basball spread because this spread went through many changes and rough drafts during the process of approval, but in the end it came out great. This is my best work because not only does it show my passion for writing sports copy but it displayed my skills in creating a sophisticated spread on a sports team’s season. The purpose of making the spread was to allow people to access a spread of information on a sport’s teams season. The spread was mostly easy, but only with the help from my co-staffers on the spread. In the beginning the spread was just an idea, it then became a design, then a backbone, and then all the details such as copy, captions, and photos. after all that then the spread will be aproved.

REACHING ABOVE THE STARS Jumping high, Ruben Navarro (7) tries to block the opponent’s shot. “I’m more of a physical player. I like to get aggressive and I try to fulfill my duties as a Bak Star player,” Navarro said. As a post player, Navarro had to get a lot of rebounds and make multiple layups. Photo by Jeremiah Schoen

FAST BREAK BLOCKER Trying to defend after getting the ball stolen, Jaylen Sanders (7) back peddles to stop an opponent from making a layup. “In close games I play aggressive defense. Like I try to steal the ball a lot more but in other games I play a lot more conservatively,” Sanders said. For two years, Sanders has been playing for the boys’ basketball team. In my opinion I think that The boy’s baseball spread was one of the sprads that needed work. This spread, from the first draft evolved, but not very much. This spread could be improved in a couple aspects such as the fact that its a little ordinary, it could use a little more pizazz. On the sidebar it could probably be changed to something a little more eye catching. My overall thoughts about this piece is that it could be more interesting if time spent on it was spent more wisely, or more time was added to the making of it.

Im proud of this photo because it shows alot of emotion and tells a story. This photo displays the students hardwork and determination to create a nice piece on their intrument. They are showing teamwork, side by side they work hard on their music.
Im very proud of this photo because of a couple things. For one thing this photo’s angle displays all of the students in a circle combining their talents to create a nice song. The repition shows how they are all are in unisen with their music.
Im proud of this photo because it shows leading lines as one saxaphone player leads to another. It perfectly follows the rule of rule of thirds by not placeing the point of interest in the center, but rather adding a second point of interst and seperating them away from the center.

Reflection 4
I was an asset to the staff this year and the yearbook, by bringing my hardwork, focus, and determibnation to the sports section. I enjoy expressing my passion for sports by creating great copy, taking story telling photos, and writing caption to fit the photos. Even though I somewhat have been less responsible with staying after school and taking charge fo rgames missed, but otherwised I committed my self to the perfection of the sports section and everything needed help with. I tried my best to make sure every single word, phrase, ofr slogan, would make sense to the spread, the sport, and the season.
Reflection 5
This I didn’t face many hardships, but the ones I did were challenging. One of my main challenges this year was trying to be able to cover a game, but under the schedule of my own baseball team and my sisters volleyball schedule. Which was at times a pain in the neck. Although no matter what it is still my responsibility to make up for the games I have to miss, its a small problem. I would handle the problems by covering another game or covering a game for the person covering mine. I feel most of the time i handled the situation ok considering i covered games to make up for the ones i missed.

BOY’S BASEBALL The beginning of a new season of baseball was like a homecoming for some players, and for some it was a completely new experience . Baseball was a form of life, players dedicated their time towards the game without asking anything back in return. While other students were lounging around at home, the players were practicing hard and long for the season. “I try to practice 25 hours a day, so that maybe our team could make the playoffs. Baseball is something that I might want to pursue , so I need to practice hard,” said Garrison Banks (8), communication major said The sport came with some difficulties. Players had to practice for multiple hours, and make arrangements to stay for games. But the baseball team was like a family. Everybody helped the others out. “Somedays when I don’t have a ride, another person on the team always helps me out. We’re all like brothers.”
Practices ran from 4:30 to 6:30, and some players practice even more. All members of the team had to fully commit to the game, and the coaches were no exception. “Somedays I would go home and just fall on the couch, after a long 2 hour practice. GThen I would get up and do the same thing the next day,” said Coach Williams. “It’s a full and daunting undertaking to be part of the baseball team, and I’m proud of every one of the players.” The baseball season this year was very successful. They won all but one game, and one the county championsip. This was the first year that Bak had ever won the championship. Shortstop Jin-Seong Park was one of the highest scorers of the 2014-2015 season, with an average of .875th of a point a game. The team won 5-3 in their final game against independence Baseball was a sport that brought people together. Students had to learn to work together and cooperate. By Subhash Kantamneni
