LOGO STUDY

This logo iteration uses simplicity in its intent to make use of one continuous organic line.

A second iteration of the continuous line, this one identifies with a retro feel and more proportional spacing.

This logo simplifies the geometry of the letters “J” and “T”, creating two identical shapes. The slenderness and close proximity of the lines emphasizes the simplicity.

Using the same geometries as before, I thickened the lines in order to create shapes. The horizontal bars were shortened so that the letters remained recognizable.

The top bar of the “T” was pulled down. This creates ambiguity of the case of the letter. It could be half of a lowercase “t” or a rotated uppercase “T”.

In this iteration I played with the ambiguity created in the previous one. The two vertical bars became one, and the “J was given a cross bar of equal size to its bottom. The letters lose recognition and the logo becomes more of a shape.

In order to regain recognition of the letter forms, I reintroduced the slender spacing between the “J” and the “T”. All other aspects of this logo remain constant with the previous version.

This iteration is a combination of the 4th and 7th. The spacing between letters is decreased so that the thickness of each horizontal bar is equal to the thickness of the two vertical lines.
