This was one of the final projects for Digital Design Foundations, a wordless children’s book with around 10 full spreads (hence the very image-heavy and very, very long post). We were free to pick any song, story, fable, legend, etc. to illustrate that we wished, and after much stressing over the fact that I knew virtually no songs with English lyrics, I finally settled on “The Ugly Duckling” — with a twist.
